And you haven’t got it for how many others? Some expansions had these short stories giving more backstory, most didn’t. Faerin first appeared in a cinematic a month ago, but her name was never mentioned if I’m not mistaken. The fact that you even know her name means you’ve already gone out of your way to find out more in one way or another, but going to a wiki page is a step too far?
If you only went by the cinematics and teasers, you wouldn’t even know that she’s a Lothar, and you wouldn’t be here complaining that she’s black and demanding immediate explanations a month before the expansion even comes out. That’s the whole point of trailers and teasers. It’s supposed to make you curious to learn more once the story is released, by playing the game.
Go watch the trailer for the 2001 Lord of the Rings and tell me how much you learned about any of the characters in it. By your logic, Gandalf, Aragorn, Frodo, Elron, Legolas and all of the other characters had no right to be in it, just because they didn’t tell us their stories in the trailer.
Trailers and teasers are not supposed to introduce you to characters’ backstories. They’re supposed to give you a vague idea and set the mood for what’s to come.
If you want the story, play the expansion when it comes out. That’s what it’s for.
You don’t know their agenda contents though.

There is no source to suggest that magic makes anyone a specific colour with the exception of Fel turning Blue Draenei into red and purple Draenei.

Didnt Fel turn Orcs green? even tho its the other way around in warcraft 3… so weird. Wasent it fell magic that turned elfs into Satyrs aswell? So red furries!

It can surprise Tah, the guy who like claiming people racist. That I ll apreciate lore for … elves by quest, lost tribe or something with strong … color elves hero.
With a little island or forgotten forest, with a nice short quest like dark ranger one or legacy armor, making me, a blood elve, meeting … colored elves and inviting them to the city.
But there is nothing more than a DEI label with stars and rainbow.
Now see, that’s my issue. What changed about the lore in a negative manner by introducing darker skin tones?

I agree, it would have been nice for them to say anything, even just a “hey guys, we want to do this for inclusivity” but also, I don’t see an issue. It hasn’t really changed anything lorewise.

Where are their parent? because all of quel dorei history is : same skin tone. and now it changed… just like that ? by the fairy tooth during the night???
