People who hate bfa

I can name 3 expansions that I think is worse than BFA: Warlords of Draenor, Cataclysm and Mists of Pandaria.

BFA has some issues sure, it’s nothing that can’t be helped though.

The main issue today is that it’s very popular to trashtalk things right now, basically all my youtube feed is filled of videos trashtalking something or someone for views. This influences people aswell to the point where they start ranting on and on about how terrible something is and feel a real need to spread that word everywhere like it was their last mission on earth. Constructive criticism is usually nowhere to be found either or extremely rare and easily lost in the 95% trashtalking that is going on.

If you dislike the game, play something else. Why bother wasting your time on things that you don’t like?

I can name no expansions worse than BFA, although I did not play legion so I cannot comment.

Personally Wod was my favourite albeit that I ran out of content.

Really? I can’t draw any similarities with WOD,

Wods gameplay = fast
BFA = slow

Characters and rotations Wod= pruned but still had resource management and a fleshed out action bar
BFA = Pruned to death i.e. 3 types of runes on a dk? nope just have 6 all the same
remove loads of general abilities and make them “talents” and “pvp talents”

Solid loot progression bfa = gone Wod = very apparent

Pvp vendors Wod = there BFA = gone

I’m saying bfa is bad since early beta and you say i’m influenced? Mate if someone is influenced then it’s those streamers cuz i started to say it before them. I run out of things to do second day after i lvled 120 with this dh and started to farm old content again.
Still see no fix to the problems make me hate this xpac and i’m verge on unsubbing every time my sub almost runs out. But lucky for blizzard what makes me still subbed is not positivity and hopes , unfortunately my addiction. Still playing while all my friends and my old guild unsubbed. Pray for Blizzard to not get a proper rival in mmorpg genre because it will literally kill wow.

Cataclysm and Legion. I can say that they were worst for me than BfA.

So people are not happy with bfa cuz the people are not happy with bfa and thus, or they are bored with the game and they don’t like bfa.
Cuz I’ve made a thread - - - > OP.

No - playing old world content on Alt is fun, class design on the other hand is not. Current story is not. Current gearing system is not. Catch-up gear month after Xpac release is not. Every raid tier replacing previous instead of expanding the fan of raids viable is not. Progression systems are not (either azerite, talents or ability unlocks once dinged set lvl).

I have more fun in Northrend (10 years old content) doing it for who knows which time than on any of my 120 toons in current setting. Hell! I have more fun in Legion zones on my DH than on my main Ele. Shaman in current!

And now tell me that my opinion of hating BfA is biased since I am bored with game, even tho I am having fun in old content. Begone thot

Didn’t play legion I really liked cata especially the start, you could actually die doing dungeons. Made me actually want to do pve, not artificially curved difficulty either like +stat squish dungeons.

You know you can hate a whole expansion simply if your favorite class/spec got destroyed. It’s as simple as that.

Not really id happily re roll a class and have done, trouble is… it’s all bad. Everything has been cut to no complexity at all.

WoD largest problem was the garrison. You had a world outside your garrison which was pointless since everything you needed was inside your garrison. Professions were useless and world quests didn’t exist. Daily quests existed but you could just get exalted from missions instead. I did nothing except raiding and sending out missions with followers while standing in my garrison alone. The times I logged in was for raid or to send out missions. And I was a mythic raider at the time so I did try all content available. If I wasn’t a mythic raider I would have had even less things to do so for a casual player WoD had to have been even worse.

WoD is then followed by Cata probably since that one was basically just a rehash of the current vanilla world with very little new content besides that except new raids.

I didn’t mind the Garrison although I actually went Alliance for most of WoD because I hated the Horde version. It was never proper customisable player housing but it was a base we worked on and built up.

In the same way I liked the Artifact weapons we had in Legion because we worked our way through the various looks. I’m still missing a an honor skin, maybe two, but unlocked everything else.

We lack that in BfA.

Why i hate bfa let me explain you why.

Warfront great idea at His core, 20 Target dummy fighting 300 Target dummy, when you need a auto kick afk system it tells everything you should know about how fun it is.

No sense of progression, when you gear Up too quickly you Will it a wall quicker. When right at the start of a expansions we are aleardy on catch Up mecanism and spoon feeded to the Ground you have no real feeling of progression.

When the rng dictate everything in the game we have a problem. Before we had 2 step.

Step 1 did the gear you need drop? Yes go to step 2. It did not drop repeat step 1 at next boss.

Step 2 it is a upgrade for you? Yes keep it , no give it to someone else.

Now we have another step called wf/tf that between step 1 and 2.

They try to keep the world content Alive. Good idea at the core, but at a certain ilvl Say by exemple 330 you should feel more powerfull agains the world it give you a sense a progression. Now im 355 and still can feeling the same has i was geared in heroic Dungeons gear.

This is what i dont like about bfa. And many streamer and youtiber are feeling the same like me and someone else.

Honestly, I don’t hate it, at least not as much as I hated WoD, they can never be truly forgiven for the selfie patch which was meant to be Farahlon, as they mentioned at Blizzcon.

But it’s wrong to dismiss people as being " tired of the game " for the negativity that’s come. Blizzard has brought this on themselves, BFA clearly wasn’t ready for release, the weeks of hotfixes was proof of this.

They told some classes they would have to wait until 8.1 to get a proper looking at and their idea was to buff damage percentages for many classes, which doesn’t fix them, if a class feels un-fun to play, buffing spells here and there by a few percent isn’t going to make the class suddenly fun.

I’ve played WoW since early 2006, vanilla, at the time. I’ve seen this company fall so far from the ideals it had, it once treated players as players, it designed for fun, too much has become mired over the years as it’s switched from treating players like players to seeing them as little more than cash cows.

It’s not that I hate the game, I do like doing M+ with my friends, I still find enjoyment in raiding, but the design direction cannot be praised.

I’ve come to expect better from the company who once delayed TBC because it wasn’t ready, with Mike Mohaime’s words being “the high-quality experience that our players expect and deserve”

Now look at them and see just how far they’ve fallen, I want them to stand back on their feet, look back at their past and see what made them the company so many of us loved, design for fun, not retention.

That’s exactly how I feel  The irony is that designing for fun is what brings retention. Most people don’t quit because they’re having fun.

To be fair battlegrounds have auto kick afk, and I love them. Not that I am condoning this expansion in any shape or form.

I usually don’t agree with the outrage mob hate when it comes to the forums, usually people complain about really nitpicky things that don’t seem to matter so much, so I generally don’t care what people here think about the game.

Still, somehow, I lost all interest in WoW during BfA. I’d blame the expansion for that. At no point has the expansion felt particularly fun, I just assumed that it gets better with the release of the first tier etc, but I honestly just don’t see any hope in it. I don’t think it’s fair to discredit feedback because you think it’s just a mob outrage and that people are just jumping on the hate bandwagon.

But you got the idea.

Absolutely, I would hasten to say the current people profiteering off this expansion at the expense of the player base are the most vile kind of human beings.
