Got a +8 Motherlode after that and managed to +2 it. So sat with a +10 Waaycrest during raid(finally got mythic Zek down yay). Ended up with a guild group to a +10 Atal'Dazar.
But that's my harsh day... Sigh should had just started earlier this week.
13/11/2018 22:42Posted by NecrosjefHalf of my keys tonight some idiot pug joins up and leaves for no apparent reason when the key is going fine. Bricks the key and leaves without penalty. These idiots need to be banned.
No, sorry. If a death happened in a low pug group, the key is over, plus, if the death happened in a stupid manner, it shows that the group has no clue what they're doing and they'll wipe again and probably not complete the key, I've done a lot of M+, I'd know.
So, leaving keys is actually the best thing you can do, both for you and your team.
But why do people leave? Because you have no respect towards their time and come unprepared to a run. Tell me, as a key leaver, why would I have any respect for your time if you don't have any for mine?
Or rather, if I hit you in the face when I said I'll help you, will you not hit me back?

No one forced you to join their group - it's YOU applied in group. Not everything goes to your way and according to your time table.
No one asked for your help - you joined them for your greed.
In short stop being rude and make your own group with like minded people instead destroying others people run. Never join chilled run.

None of these people claim it's a "chill" run, by the way, "chill" means that "we're so bad we can't time a low key".
Which I totally respect, I do and that's their business, whatever. But if I join a group, by default, it assumes that everyone has the minimum respect to have done their homework and not mess up simple, meaningful things that if you don't know, you wipe. When you press "Join Group", it is assumed that the goal is to time it, unless stated otherwise.
So, you're wrong.
Again, I ask - how am I rude for leaving a key where there are 1-2 people that are rude to me? Oh, they didn't say meanie words or they didn't do this "popular toxic" thing? Well, sorry to break it to you, they're still rude, in an even worse way.
If I hit you in the face on the street, do you just sit there, hug me and tell me more about your happy day or do you hit me, call the police and pin me down to the ground?
Let's not kid ourselves here. Start learning what human behavior is and realize how your actions have consequences.
I just started my trial in a guild, I've never been inside M in this tier, yet I went ahead, read the journals, watched streams, looked at the videos, asked a few druids what they do at some bosses, why they do it, how comp affects their choices and watched the guide videos, I also practiced my rotations in M+ and HC to see damage patterns and have a timeline. Because I have respect for the other 19 people in the raid, you don't go to raid "4fun, chill run". It's not just a game, even tho I don't care about this game, I care about my time, so if you don't care about my time, why should I care about yours?
"Ok, but not everyone has this much time.". Then stick to content / levels your time allows you to perform in.
And also, this is bs. I manage 2 businesses with lots of employees and I even answer support tickets myself if I feel like it. There's 24 hours in a day, out of which 6 I sleep, the rest, I manage carefully to make sure playing is possible as well as efficient working, so, if you don't have time for any of this, then, sorry, not everyone succeeded in life and I get that you're caught up in a 9-5, but then don't be greedy in game and, once again, stick to what you're capable of. If you're stressed that you messed up your life, don't take it on the people in the game in an indirect way.
Also, there's no shame. I'm not capable of ever doing a +20 because I'm not fast enough. I won't even attempt unless the group says "it's ok, we understand and accept that"...do you think you'll see this kind of self-reflection on most people? Nope. They'll apply, say they're good, you see their r.io score and bang - they'll not know what to do, no respect, only greed.
Point of pug is it's unpredictable with different skill set and skill level of people. At end of day getting job done is matters and leaving group won't help. You are also punishing person who are good enough bcoz few of them are not good in team.
Well it's your choice, due to irl time issues you cant join such group. But if you join pug then you should consider nature of pug. You play selfish way - noone here can stop you. It's your time, you having fun but just don't ruin other people fun. Instead of that making own group or go with guild is better idea.
Such behaviour won't help make good community in game as well as irl. Just my two cents - not replying to this anymore. Personal choice - do whatever you want.
Yet as some replies proves here. You can't even sneeze without getting accused of: You suck! Key is dead! /Ragequit.
And i myself left twice because i was first in DPS as a tank on the first boss by a large margin (and i wasnt even the highest ilvl).
So if the grp is total garbage this can happen.
But if you build a normal grp this will happen so damn rarely!
Dont think that gonna happen, but who knows.
They could give m+ something like 4 hours dungeon deserter buff account wide. Maybe also make it so WQ dont gives any reward while you have it, cant pick herbs!
I donāt think keeping people as hostages in a bad group is a good idea. The whole reason why the pug system is so successful is because it gives people freedom. There wonāt be any situations where youāre getting punished for leaving or getting kicked etc, and thatās the good thing about it.
Even if they were to moderate someone who got reported for leaving, how would they solve each case? Whatās fair and what isnāt? I think the leaver would have to be pretty explicit about their intentions of ruining the run for everyone else for action to be taken. Plus, this would require way too much work. Do you know how many mythic+ runs are made every day? Itās just impossible.
This is certainly annoying.
I have long advocated a week long ban from joining another m+. That should be a nice penalty. =)
that said, I actually had to leave one m+ dungeon (I think the only one since they were introduced), on the very last boss, which was as annoying for me, as probably everyone in my groupābut real life emergencies happen. =(
I have thought about it some.
What would be appropriate for m+ and bg, or any leaversā¦
the Account is ālockedā for the duration of THAT dungeons/Bg. You canāt play the game, at all, on any character, on any realm, until that dungeon or bg is complete.
That probably wonāt solve anything with the m+ leavers, but should help with the BG leavers.
Its a stupid idea which will never work.
First of all ālfgā is nothing more than a tool to find people, an improved chat room. After u form a party u disapear from it, how do u want it to cause any action after closing the lfg.
Also the idea that preventing people from leaving will improve game experience is kinda off. All those trash players will just go afk or start wiping group to make u to leave first so they dont get the deserter.
Or lets say someone get bugged and cant release so u have to kick him out of group make him relogg (which happends alot). Should he get deserter for that?
The most they can do is making some official blacklist, but again, blizz is not responsible for how do u play the gameā¦and they shouldnt be.
The āpunishmentā suggestions in here are hilarious. Keep it coming guys!
Absolutely agreed 100% and by the way I didnāt even read the entire post, just the title.Hereās my thought: You should earn a point for every time you leave an unfinished m+ dungeon. At 3 points, Deserter Debuff for ONE WEEK! BOOM! PROBLEM SOLVED
Itās never going to happen, as anyone thatās not a complete casual agrees that leaving key is a must.
Again, Iām tired of saying it:
If you disrespect my time by being greedy and coming into a key without not knowing what to do, Iām out of there.
Iām a key leaver and proud of that, learn to respect my time.
Phodapopo, you should be proud to whisper that to any group you sign up for.
lol , why not jail sentence IRL while ur at it?
I believe that, first, the people who have no respect for my time should warn me first that they have no idea what theyāre doing and they want to go inside a key ātotally nakedā.
Oh, that wonāt happen, right? Because then it goes against they greediness and not giving a ffffffff style intentions.
Sometimes I wonder, are all of you guys this bad at reading human behavior and is it not obvious that my leaving is completely justified?
Maybe, just maybe. Or, maybe itās something else that doesnāt center on YOU. =)
