Probably not no, I don’t think I have it in me to do 1-60 again, will probably play sod and try the new content if it’s not gate kept by sweats

I never experienced the original launch of Vanilla in 2004 or in 2019, same for TBC and Wrath, my first experience with WoW was in Pandaria but very short lived and later on in Shadowlands so I’m very happy and excited to, in a few days, be able to experience vanilla and TBC and hopefully Wrath in the future.

I think masses of people will come back, most of them will quit before 20, a larger part will quit before 40 and the rest will play. But it’s moving at a fast enough pace that TBC hype can bring it all back into play. The killer is stagnation, as much as the 14 current ERA players want to believe that’s not true.
Fresh will be plenty successful.

I’m gonna go again for classic to tbc to wotlk. Combing it with my hc leveling. I know a lot of people bored of cata talk about coming back. But we’ll see thursday

But its only banned on the new servers.
If people feel they want play causal with gdpk the option will still be there on era servers☺️ i like the fact that there is now none gdpk servers and gdpk servers that people can choose from☺️
Sod is not dead. It has less population for sure vs phase 1 but its kinda the nature of seasonal servers. Som had gdkp allowed but had very low population in the of it.
There were other factors aswell as bad desicions that made ppl angry and quited.
And release of other expansion during sods lifespan.
The economy is suprsingly healthy still on sod aswell.
Only reason why i will be playing fresh is because of TBC , otherwise i wouldn’t…i’ve done it on few characters already , i could not bother anymore.

I’m coming back. I’m hyped for it. I didn’t do it originally and I really want to now, I’ve wanted fresh + progressive servers for years. Very surprised they actually did it.

I think a lot of people will play but they won’t stay for more than 2-3 months. Also seeing streamers preferring hc (just to keep their audience) will probably draw fanboys there as well.
