its not easy but its not hard either.
loved doing pet dungeons and 8.2 battles.
They should remove it from game and re-release it as mobile only.

Sounds like a l2p issue. Pet battles is extremely easy to the point that theres more challenge in it from only playing with a limited collection, instead of swiss knifing the correct counterpets to mollest enemy pets.

Pet battles are a niche for a few player enjoying them. Leave it to them. I could never really get into it myself.

This thread is weird to be honest pet battles are easy I must be in a twilight zone where pet battles are considered hard content 
I mean pet battles are like Pokemon how hard can it be?.
I find them hard, but i assume thats cause i’ve never really put any effort into learning the mechanics behind them and i only have like 5 pets at lvl 25. If i really wanted to petbattle i would learn how it works and probably find it alot easier

Well yea they are not difficult at all compared to other content of the game and I feel the same if i got into it I would easily learn it it’s not rocket science it’s just like Pokemon.

They are not hard, but they are getting boring and tedious quite fast. Though I miss good old days, when pet battles were new. Playing them without good collection and any knowledge was fun indeed.
Especially good memories of Major Payne fight that drained the whole night for me. But now it looks weird, as Nightshade Sproutling is soloing the fight without any effort.

If you are struggling there are guides available.
I personally like this site. The strategies are always being updated and more submitted. There are various combinations suggested and how to do the fight step by step if needed.

If you’re having trouble, wait until Squirt visits your menagerie. Then just solo her pets with the Mechanical Pandaren Dragonling and level a whole bunch to 25.
