Definitely.
A week ago I was nearly run over by a very well lighted (it was night though) crosspath. I stood at the traffic light, waiting for it to be green. Walked, just for a car to appear from the opposite side (she apparently did not even see me???) and go full speed towards me. If I had walked a bit slower / didn’t jump out of the way, then I would have been run over. I just looked at the lady in the car as she stared at me with wide eyes. Who would have expected pedestrians to walk over the street on a green light? Certainly not me.
Why are forklift drivers again send every 2 years to a security check up where they learn the same stuff but drivers get it once and then can drive forever without any issues?
Anyways, I called the police on the driver since “reckless driving” towards pedastrians is considered “attempted murder” in my country. So I hope she is prepared for court.
Real pet delight though:
I am happy that 8.3 will be the only content for the next 11-16 months, you know what that means? Yes, all the OOC’ers on Argent Dawn will probably go inactive since “nothing to do”. It will be like back in WoD where nearly only roleplayers remain on Argent Dawn, since everyone else left due to no content. It will be great.
I’d have to say exclusively at home at this point. A close friend of mine has been teaching for a few years now, and the number one problem for her and her colleagues, is parents expecting for the school staff to be a sort of Rent-A-Parent for them to share their responsibilities with.
The punchline being that when those maladjusted children then lash out on other children or the staff, and the teachers contact the parents to inform that there’s a problem, the blame is quickly shifted to literally any other place but home. Including the teachers.
Obviously children have to learn how to engage with society outside of home. I get that. But there are limits to what parents should be expecting of others.
Aye, that’s how parents are today… I see kids running around screaming in stores etc, and when I was a kid, that crabs didn’t exist. You didn’t scream in stores (or generally in public) and kept it down, as you were told by your parents.
This generation of parents are Tools.
damn, why you gotta harsh me like that
There are Always outliers ofc…
Will you let your Child run around in stores and scream?
only if it serves as a distraction to aid in a con or gambit that i am running
Tolerated.
But outside of that?
Pretty sure kids have been running around and screaming since the dawn of time. It’s kinda their thing.
Also, I wouldn’t really put too much stock into the parenting abilities of the previous generation… Millenials are plagued with depression and mental issues for a reason. Turns out “discipline” isn’t the best way to raise kids to be happy, emotionally stable adults… even if they are quiet in stores.
Having completed the ToS mythic DH set (except the belt ofc… hello mythic KJ), I have to say, whoa my DH looks SO AWESOME. I didn’t notice it until I finished the set, but apparently the gloves and boots give your character long demonic nails and it actually adds so much. Like, that’s a proper demonic. With the Warglaives of Azzinoth on top of that I feel like I may have my best looking character yet.
I also changed to the talent that transforms your DH to meta form for a couple of seconds after using eye beam and I thought it helps a lot, particularly because it makes the random transformation during eye beam way less awkward
I’m leveling my Warlock and finally hit 100. Time to play Legion, new class hall, yaaay!
Not sure what I’ll do when I hit 110 tho… already did all the BfA leveling zones (on Alliance), some of it multiple times, so not really motivated to do it again. Might just stick to Legion and do an underleveled zone.
You could just go through TBC timewalking?
What, like dungeons? No thanks, LFG increases my blood pressure way too high… sounds like a nightmare to use it for leveling.
Finally got around to grinding Valajar rep and Trial of Valor for the drops.

Probably a little too shiny and glowy to fit my character in RP, but dang if they don’t look fine.
I RP’d in-game yesterday, like … in-game. That’s my delight for today.
It even works on pandaren. It’s a shame there are no offset pieces for mythic because a panda with those claws looks nasty.
What’ll come first? DH Pandaren or Blizzard dropping tmog restrictions?
I dunno. The panda DK crusade is finally over, which obviously means I will now embarge on a panda paladin crusade next.
My friendo got a new tablet and is gonna paint for me and I’m so ecstatic I might just cry.
Now I may cry cause i spent hours trying for a shiny Koffing and a friend bumped into one and gave me it. I love…
