Played rated pvp (2v2) for the first time ever today and won 2/3!! That was absolutely epic, think I’ll be playing it again many times in the future…!

I maintain, to this day, that if you walk into a supermarket, close your eyes, and just -listen- you would be forgiven for thinking that you had walked into a concentration death-camp for children (sorry as bleak as that idea sounds). It is naught more than a perpetual wail of darkest misery…I Don’t even think it is that generation of parents, I mean I -would- be that generation of parents had I sired any as opposed to just being an Uncle. Oh! That is my pet delight! My Niece, she is always so happy to see me, and has learned how to do ‘finger guns’ and ‘high five’. She is just an adorable little kid, I mean everyone thinks a small child related to them is adorable, but in my case I am right, I will fight anyone who says otherwise! I had to quit smoking and drinking as much, because she is adopted (My Bro and Sis in Law could totally have had their own kids biologically, but felt they would rather adopt a baby), and you (as in people they will be regularly exposed to) have to lay off things that could trigger bad memories in adopted kids, (So booze and baccy) but it was so worth it, I mean, obviously for my own health, but just to have this tiny person who responds to “High Five!” is…pretty special. That’s my Pet Delight. My little Niece.

It’s with parents like any other sort of people. Most of them will pass you by and you won’t even remember it; others will leave an impression - be it for all the right or wrong reasons.
Pet delight of the day? I finally have running water again.
I’ve only been without it for a single day due to maintenance, but it made me realize just how easy it is to take things for granted.

First time I had to report and like the same post… well done.
Had a pretty fun interaction with Aerilen and Meng last night. I should have taken it as seriously as the other two Alliance characters with me, but it was too hard not to make myself not seem like an idiot in character.

I went to a job interview 4 hours ago and 30 minutes ago the interviewer called me and told me they had decided to hire me because I made such a convincing case for my hiring!!!

It’s called Flexi in the UK (I don’t know what it’s called elsewhere) and it’s nice. I think it’s becoming increasingly popular in businesses, in part because it means they don’t have to pay as much for overtime.
At my current job - which I’m leaving - I could start between 8:00 and 9:30, before leaving at 16:00. Then I could build up positive balance to have a day off each month if I worked over my contracted hours; I just used it for the occasional lie-in instead.

I got a heroic raid BoE with a strong corruption on it. If it sells for as much as my raid leader estimated it’s worth, then I will be back up to my pre-BFA gold amount of 1m (together with the gold I’ve made world questing for months on end).
Very good heroic raid today, in fact. Ilvl shot up and bosses went down smoothly. And we were all roleplayers! Thank you, Rune, and a finger to people who think roleplayer-only groups can’t do content

Just finished Divinity: Original Sin 2. That was a damn solid game, the high review scores are well deserved.
I think I need to do another run, this time as the skeleton guy.
I got my troll druid to 120!
Finished Castlevania (the Netflix series), damn that was some cool stuff. Certainly quite rushed, but great nonetheless.
Kind of wanna play some of the games now I have Lords of Shadow 1 and 2, maybe time to give 'em a spin.
Got to 90 and can mog all my gear except my goggles!

A friend offered to draw whatever I wish and I’m quite happy as I like their colourful and lighthearted style. I just don’t know what I want drawn. I was thinking something cheeky and fun with Sak’hara but… choices.
