Pet Delights, positivity thread #2

The hero is just as glorious as I imagined.

Reddit and twitch despises the hero, which I am totally fine with. Leave it all to me!

Finally bit the bullet and entered pvp as a healer. Not a great fan of WoW pvp - it’s too ‘noisy’, but druid healing was less stressful than rogue dpsing for whatever reason.

Might even consider it the main side activity for shadowlands, though not rated. No way in all the hecks am I stepping in that.

I have discovered the wonders of Alterac Valley.

And the power of gaining 27k+ Honor points over a mere two days. I’ll be Stone Guard at no time at this rate.

Just found out about the upcoming MMO Ashes of Creation, and am pretty hyped. Hopefully it will be a success.

WoW killer or not a WoW killer? How many times have we heard that being used? It does look pretty cool though, interested to see how it plays out.

I hope it delivers. This is exactly what the MMO genre needs. Something new and fresh. Not to mention it looks like a RP heaven.

It won’t deliver everything the dude is promising.

However unlike any other MMO, if he even delivers half the stuff he promises, it’ll be a great success

The dude is still shifty af if you look into how he made his money though

Put off reading Wheel of Time for ages and i’ve finally dug in and waded to book 8. I’m enjoying it even if the books are a bit repetative.

Aye, hopefully it delivers. No matter how he got the money, he is funding the project personally, so there’s no rush to meet a deadline, which fills me with hope.

How’d he make his money?

MLM with a nutrient company or something like that

From what I’ve heard, that was only a small part of his money. Most of his money was earned through real estate investments.

Regardless, I envy him. Imagine retiring at the age of 29 lol.

based + redpilled

That is no mere Blood Knight. His name is Aerilen and you owe him your allegiance…

welcome back king

I drew a little bit today. Only some sketches.
But I did it.
Maybe more tomorrow.

Goodluck, you’re about halfway!

Just finished watching Lord of the Rings: Return of the King extended edition. And by golly these movies hold up well. Even if the extended edition is actually just insane in its length… Return of the King was friggin 4 hours and 20 minutes long.

The LotR trilogy is something that will never be beaten. It is surreal to think those films were made in 1999/2000/2001 and stuff. The quality is just crazy for its time.

I often look at the different orcs, or when the Ents destroyed Isengard, each individual Ent is actually doing something. There is no CGI like there was in the Hobbit for example. Like, the Uruk-hai were all played by real stunt actors and extras from New Zealand, the Rohirrim were mostly female riders with beards glued to their faces. And some actors like Viggo even got wounded during production.

The amount of effort, passion, blood, sweat and tears that went into making those films is unequaled to anything that is made these days.

The hobbit movies are over a decade older and in terms of quality they look worse and far more fake.

Like I must’ve watched the LotR trilogy over a 100 times during my time on this Earth and I still pick out details I did not see before.

Fun LOTR fact, for if you didn’t know (I know some do)

The guy that voiced King Théoden in LOTR, also voiced Tirion Fordring in wow.
