I’ve just managed to complete every class story in SWTOR and you can clearly see where the effort went when it came to some of the classes. I might as well rank them (bias included).
Your list is almost correct, bias included imho
The Inquisitor is one of the best, tho a bit sad they never continued the little side quest with the mysterious signal/devices you investigate on Rishi… 
But I would say the Imperial Agent is on par with it (or a close second) and would rank the consular above the smuggler 
My list will obviously be different than yours.
Imperial Agent sits at the top for the story for a number of reasons, and I would rate Consular higher than Knight. Inquisitor is definitely a close second for me though.
I’d also say Trooper definitely deserves a higher place on that list, I’d put Smuggler on the bottom personally.
I started playing again recently.
I like all the stories so I don’t find any to be weak so to speak, and while I think the Consular is thematically stronger than the Knight, the Knight wins out purely on the heroism typical to Star Wars and being the apparent continuation of KOTOR.
Trooper has some of the best decision making but I feel the middle and last acts drag it down compared to the smuggler; has the same faults but the dialogue and strong theme make up for it.
I’m an altoholic but you’ll probably find me on Amorine or Kasiron on the Empire side.
Oh guys, don’t get me started on Swtor class story hype! Or the grief that they were removed for the most part after vanilla… from certain perspective it’s nice you can be more than your class later on, I still wish your class had more significance in the later expansions.
Gosh, I miss that game. I miss the RP guilds I was part of. But I don’t miss the lack of new content and money > story being way too visible currently. No, I don’t want good looking cartel market stuff when there’s little significant cinematics to see it on your char.

Inquisitor tends lean towards 1 for me. Unless we count Baras and his fat features. I liked both Inquisitor and Warrior lines

A crown for every occasion. Much like rumpelstiltkin from shrek and his many wigs.
Reached dizzy height of 56 in classic and it only feels like the leveling gets quicker post 50 for some reason.
Haven’t even touched the PL both west and east yet, so thats still a massive reservoir of quest exp.
Not to mention the much underloved and under appreciated Un’goro Crater quests. Though after several hours trawling through the Blasted Lands I will give that a pass until I need to get my ritual of doom (Got my Inferno spell yesterday too!).
