Torghast nerfs, yay!
Blizzard caving quickly is a good thing.

Really pleased they’ve done that, Torghast should be fun challenging, not grindy challenging
I’m not sure what to think about the Torghast nerfs… while parts of it were blatantly broken (looking at you, caster mobs that were just about killable when you used every dps cooldown), but these changes appear a little bit overkill. I did my layer8s on both wings, and it felt… a bit too easy, on my fire mage. Unless I pulled half a floor/multiple elites without any cooldowns, it felt as if there was no danger of dying.
I got BoE earlier today. Ez money
Me and my brother were in car, and a playlist of soundtracks were playing. Then Duel of Fates from Starwars began playing, and exactly when it played, at the side of the road we saw three or four people playing snowball, shooting them at each other, I said “They’re having Duel of Fates.”
I didn’t survive laughing.
Ive started making a mine cart line from my main castle to the End Portal. its gonna be a long one.
Keeping you posted on Minecraft!
How excited Little Girl is when I get the lead out. She had to run upstairs and show the housemate that she was going for a walk.
Then when we got out of the door, she basically ran (only as far as the lead would take her). Hard to keep up with one little dog and her shear excitement.
I made Strata yesterday and it was a hit in the household.
I have plans for NYE! It’s nothing too crazy obviously with the pandemic going on but it’ll be nice to be with a friend. I was afraid that it’ll go by with my sitting in front of my laptop and getting drunk on Zoom. Don’t get me wrong I love the people that I hang weekly with on Zoom but I’ve been missing face to face human contact that’s not with my co-workers.
Been a while Dangerbeard, good to see you again!
Doing the Suramar storyline for the third time, and the intro cinematic still gives me goosebumps.
It’s impressive how much effort they put into it. They created separate assets just for that flashback of Suramar in the heyday of the Kaldorei Empire. They managed to condense a lot of lore into a short narration, by distilling it to the essentials the players need to know to understand the zone storyline, and Thalyssra’s narration is very heartfelt and relatable, making you instantly care for a character you just met.
And it only gets better from there. I honestly think Suramar is the best outdoor zone made so far, though it has some really strong competition.
Great to see you too, Kump. Little known feature of every expansion: a Dangerbeard reappearance!
I’m having so much fun these days with just Torghast&Chill with my husband, blasting ninja sex party and kicking butt. It’s nice having content that works so well for a duo.
We won’t be more than a handful of people, but everyone have now been cleared with negative Covid tests - and have been religiously practicing social distancing since the tests were taken.
Looks like Christmas eve is back on the menu.
Despite all the freezes and lags I suffer from when playing WoW, I managed to get some mythic dungeons done and do content to a degree and thus gearing up, especially thanks to friends.
I am relieved.
I got the weapon token from my great vault today.
I can now have my Necrolord staff.
Today was the first time I’ve ever cooked food for someone else, and they liked it! (Or at least pretended to like it.) and also the first time I’ve ever healed in a raid. Double success.
Pet delight: Kul Tirans.
I have some criticisms about them, such as having lazy reused melee animations (they have no racial special attack animation for example, so slam just uses the autoattack animation…)
But the shape of them is so good. They are PERFECT for plate. I don’t think any race in this game carries the Maldraxxus plate (itself arguably the best set in the game) as well as male Kul Tirans do. Seeing them is also incredibly painful to me in particular because they are what male pandaren always should have been.
They have legs. LEGS.
I really dislike humans in WoW. I find them uninteresting and dislike the models and animations as well. Kul Tirans are a total 180 for me though which took me by surprise. I couldn’t quite get into the RP so I remain 100% invested in Pandaria, but man do they tempt me to branch out like no other race does.
