I can’t seem to find a macro, that lets my pets keep attacking, after the target dies. I’ve seen some macros, where my pet attacks, as I cast Immolate or similar, but I dont want that. Is it possible to make one at all?
It’s not possible to attack a dead mob.
Can you be more specific as to what you want, do you mean make your pet attack a new target? If so try /petattack or Ctrl-1
Yeah, if I send my pet to attack with my keybind, it will return after that target is dead, but if I’m in a dungeon and there’s several mobs, I want it attacking the next target, without having to use my keybind all the time
Put /petaggressive in your attack macro, then make sure to put it on defend or passive when the mobs are dead!
O boy.
Healers and tanks are gonna LOOOOOOOOVE playing with you.
Well it is basically what OP is asking for, a tool that makes sure his pet keeps attacking the next target available. I don’t know how else to put it since OP doesn’t want to macro /petattack to his own abilities.
Sure, but it’s also gonna make the pet seek out random (not pulled) mobs closeby too.
Which I can see going south real fast if you’re not used to having a super aggressive pet.
100% but it is what OP wants, personally I have all my attacks, including wand, macro’d with /petattack and is on defensive stance. Which means it attacks whatever I attack or have damaged and will automatically switch to the next target I pick or it has received aoe damage from. Almost 0% downtime.
