Look, Blizzard, a single player did this, why can’t you, a triple A company, do the same? I know you’re as greedy as… well, you’re so greedy any comparison I’d make would be an understatement, but are you seriously suggesting this costs too much to do?
Oof, careful there, that might cost us an raid tier or two.
Good, maybe we won’t kill N’zoth in the same expansion as Zul and Azshara, then.
speaking of activision bullshihz, peeve; selling red dot reticles for money on cod 4.
why. someone please, tell me why they continue to dig their grave so deep.
They’ve convinced themselves the money well can never dry up and are acting accordingly. Take more and more water till the well dries out and then panic about there being no water whilst they choke to death on sand.
Course had they rationed the water and managed it properly in accordance with natural rainfall, there’d still be water.
But company executives aren’t the smartest of people. That’s why they get paid so much. Past a certain point higher the salary, dumber the person.
I got nothing of the set I want from this week’s NH run, and only the chest from the last.
I should really get into a DK-only raid.
I don’t like Jim Sterling but he put it best: Publishers don’t want to just make money anymore, they want to make ALL the money. If their income isn’t constantly increasing, they see it as a failure. Expanding indefinitely is their goal. It’s why a game can “only” sell 6 million copies and be a ‘failure’ regardless. It’s not enough to just sell a game and move on, every game has to be a ‘service’ which saps at the wallets of everybody who plays it.
Christ, I miss just paying £40 for a game and that being that, sans expansions but at least those tended to be worth the cash and weren’t out on day 1.
Literally agreed word for word. If (In the default window size of TRP3) I have to scroll down, it’s too long. I suppose I am very practical minded, I see profiles as a cut and dry description of a character, and wince when I see someone’s basically written an entire fanfiction chapter describing their character. 99% of people reading the profile just want an idea of how you look, they won’t be reading it as an art piece!
Fortunately this is what the ‘at a glance’ tabs are good for… but sadly even those are becoming fanfic chapters at times. If it’s more than a paragraph, I skip it.
I cut slack for worgen (because two forms) but that’s about it.
I should go to my weekly Blackrock Foundry Raid Run on my Warrior. Might be a good idea to take another class there as well. There are some weapon appearances there that I’d quite like.
Actually I should take my Warrior to Siege of Orgrimmar as well. I really wish Tusks of Mannoroth had a higher drop chance…
Added peeve: Jesus Christ, the stock price for ActiZzard went up. A little bit yes, but it still went up, and I don’t like it.
Spinning back round to my previous post on writing. New Year’s resolution to write minimum 500 words/day. Writer’s block when you know what you want to happen but can’t get the words out for a particular moment is really frustrating.
But it’s fine, I finally got through it. 500 completed. Technically it’s not the same day 'cos it’s past midnight but I’m going on ‘sleeps’ not ‘days’ really. Woe betide me if I have a nap…
One of the Zandalari WQ is to prank allied zandalari by hexing them, they can then attack you, and you have to kill them
Just a prank btw
Then stop using their products
True but Fury Road is also an unironic masterpiece and possibly my favourite film ever. It’s one well worth paying full attention to, even though you can enjoy it after just switching off.
MAKE IT STOP
Their chief financial officer has been booted and replaced by someone that worked with blizz for 12 years iirc
My blood elf rogue is basically wearing the set I would want to use on my kul tiran druid.
So had to find another set that i would wear on a KT druid.
The one I want is the tot norm druid set, the boots drop from trash with a 0.15% chance to drop (much like the warlock cloth ones), I gave up farming the warlock ones.
AAACK!
There’s a fair amount of trash so its not exactly that low of a chance
You say that, but up until a few weeks ago, I was religiously farming the warlock ones on all my cloth wearers (same droprate) and i still haven’t seen them.
Welcome to 2k19 nibbas
You know what this reminds me of? That speech from Uriel Septim from Oblivion when you escape the prison
“You alone must stop the Prince of Destruction and his mortal servants!” (Not exactly accurate but it’s pretty much along those lines). Leaving out the fact that you’re gonna be more or less someone’s delivery boy rather than the actual lone savior (Granted you do still do all the heavy lifting, but you aren’t the guy who banishes Mehrunes Dagon).
Basically what I want to say is: Saying that I am the one and only person who can stop the rise of the stock prices for ActiZzard is stupid. If I am going to stop “Using their products”, I expect you to do the same. Only I guess you won’t so… I won’t either.
