I love this tweet:
I didn’t read this in the patch notes. I must’ve accidentally read over it, since there is no way you would have forgotten to put such a fundamental change in the patch notes, right?
Peeve: While I actually like the new chapters of the Alliance war campaign (mainly because Flynn is back as he is one of the greatest characters of the expansion tied with Bwonsamdi), the Darkshore-questline falls flat.
The night elves seemingly don’t understand basic military strategies even when they’re told that the Alliance is fighting on two rather important fronts: First in Arathi to secure the Eastern Kingdoms and secondly in Zandalar in order to crush the trolls and their fleet which in turn allows Kul Tiras to control the seas, which then in turns allows the Alliance to secure supply lines.
I mean alright: The night elves didn’t really do anything anyway (the night elves in Zandalar are part of the 7th Legion), so I guess it’s kinda okay?
When I have an idea in mind and want to ask others for their opinion, then when they voice an argument against it, which I can counter.
Problem with this is that, if I respond to it with my own counter-argument, chances are they’ll just go; “Looks like you just want to do this no matter what, so…” No, mate, your argument just doesn’t hold much water to me, please continue to discuss with me so we can come to an agreement whether my idea is flawed or not.
Aw man, I can mog swords into fist weapons (and vice versa)
Means i got to start farming hellfire citadel… urgh, how soloable is that raid at the moment?
I heard mythic is very troublesome for all but the highest mobility classes. The other difficulties should be ok though.
Now I wish DK could use fist weapons.

So much this, there’s a certain fist-weapon with a frostwyrm-esque skull that I would adore on frost DK.

And shields. There are some super cool DK shields out there.
Just remove weapon restrictions imo. If you want to keep weapon requirements on actually using your abilities the same that’s fine, but let us RP as DK archers if we want to.
Sidenote: DK archers would be so strong. They could do some truly insane draw weights with their unholy strength, and would present a serious challenge even if forced into melee.

I have to admit that for a long while I rp’ed this DK on a warrior simply to have a shield. Being an engine of death and fear doesn’t mean I’m stupid enough to let myself get riddled with azeroth’s numerous magical arrows.

Cool, I don’t think I need mythic-- well not yet at least. But I can at least start farming normal and hc Mindscythe for my DH.
Sword and shield is a really classic knight combo as well. It doesn’t feel silly at all for DKs to use it. Shields are also large flat surfaces that offer amazing opportunities for good-looking designs (such as guild shields - give, Blizz).

Oh, and one other thing about the Darkshore questline: When you’re send out to free the huntresses the Horde in the area are literally cartoon villains.
On topic of restriction removals, same with armor, but rather in transmogging purposes, a mage wearing plate? sure, hunter in leather? ofcourse!
Actually, why not allow any class to use any armor without a specific class restriction on it, but all effects only count 50% if the armor type is not the main armor type of your class

They destroyed the Cult of Forgotten Shadows… great, more potential gone.

People using the belf heritage gear IC. Lor’themar literally states that it’s the regalia given to the greatest heroes of Quel’thalas so why in the world does your character have that outfit? I know it looks cool and it’s all modern-textured and all that but the gear exists in universe with a specific function. That specific style of clothing is an award given to specific, heroic individuals.
It isn’t a military uniform.
It isn’t available on the market.
Your local smithy didn’t make it.
Stop wearing it unless you actually RP a hero of Quel’thalas.

I fully intend to RP my Nelf with the Night Warrior blessing. But I am not about to linger around big city hubs with it. Imo, if your nelf got the blessing, you’re in Darkshore/Ashenvale to get vengeance.

As for this. Take a page out of the Legion Handbook, and accept it may not be THE set IC. Let people enjoy a sweet new set,

I mean. I roleplay a Spellbreaker. So I thought it was fine for me to wear it, as all I ever do on Therenthil is meander around SMC, make sure non-BElf roleplayers don’t feel ostrasized by interacting them, and keeping the peace as an individual. At most I just say smthn like, “ah yeah I’m one up on your usual guardians”.

Don’t Silvermoon guards wear it?

My inability to take the Night warrior customisation seriously as I keep comparing it to The Sims games’ aliens.
