Just watched the Movie Venom… Peeves me that for a lot of time people kept telling me it’s a bad movie when I fairly enjoyed it. The symbiotes deserved a good spotlight of their own… Surely would have been better to link it with the new spiderman movies but that’s just how Sony hates Marvel. Didn’t made the movie any worse. Critics on rotten tomatoes are wrong.

I agree to this. Venom was actually a pretty good movie and I keep looking back at it. I really enjoyed that movie and yes, the critics on rotten tomatoes are wrong.

I had a similar experience, albeit only on one character. I don’t get why rares don’t also drop commendations once per rotation so that even when you get nothing, you still make progress towards something else : /
No, azerite neck progression doesn’t counter. 36 azerite from a rare is basically a kick in the todger.

Honestly I don’t think movie critics are really to be trusted that much. Actually, critics in general might be a little hard to trust with their opinions.
Ultimately, everything we consume, be it movies, videogames, food, drink or adult videos, all amount to preference and taste. Just for some reason there are people who their opinions are somehow “Valued above others”, and I tend to think that those people tend to be the most unreliable. User reviews can gauge a bit more of an accurate impression, but those can be subject to review bombs, or people who are easily excited.
Also doesn’t help that the “Professional critics” or at least the more noteworthy folk for film critique try to seem like they know their business, when they probably don’t really deal with movies beyond writing a script for their review, or edit a video together if they’re on Youtube. So what should be the takeaway from this? Temper your expectations and don’t trust reviews/critics too much.
I kinda regret not going to watch the Venom movie. I guess I’m waiting to watch it with my girlfriend.

I specifically powerlevelled my Death Knights and got her to 320 for a third,last-minute shot at the ‘Mythic’ plate, having gotten a chest on my warrior and paladin, and luckily got the shoulders.
Not getting either the boots or helm despite 6 separate loot rolls is galling. Not getting a single thing in 12 is downright rude >:(

I dislike the entire gift-giving tbf, I don’t need anything myself, I’ve got everything i need, probably enough socks to last a dang lifetime…
And buying gifts for others, well, my family members don’t need something I can think of either.
Only gets worse when you consider the concept of keeping it as a surprise… Yeah, surprise, here’s something we thought you could use, but… then you don’t.
All of this is just a means for shops to rob us of more money, Christmas should be about family, not some lousy gifts…
Critics suck. Never trust a person paid to have an opinion.
Peeve:
Beast races needing to be cute, marketable and fetish-y for a certain demographic. I want more gross, filth encrusted wildmen and horned savages acting like the half-beasts that they are. Let there be more terrifying manimals.
Extra peeve with pickles:
Characters who are too badass to be afraid or unsettled. They don’t come off as tough, they just seem as if there’s some piece missing in their heads. Courage is the defiance of fear, not the absence of it.

Even death knights can feel fear, for example Mograine felt really uneasy about one of the artifact weapons, having had enough of weapons with their own will

Artificial scarcity on a digital product is my peeve.
This is what bugged me about Hi-Rez games, sure it’s “only cosmetic” but it’s still asinine that to get Fernado’s Gundam skin in Paladins I have to buy a (finite) loot box with 200+ other items of crap. Assuming I can even get the skin, since the Gundam Thor from Smite is still unobtainable but it taunts me every time I open his god page with NEVER AVAILABLE EVER AGAIN.
And now Blizzard’s doing the same thing here. There’s no reason why these items could just remain on the store, and the fact they’re trying to drain 50 euro out of people one last time before they go, in an obvious IT MIGHT BE YOUR LAST CHANCE swindle at that, is pretty gross.
Blah blah “I hope the remove the rest of them next lol”, yeah me too but we all know they won’t. They’ll do a Hi-Rez/Arenanet and start making artificial scarcity a growing thing across stuff like Overwatch too.
