Pet Peeve #INFINITY - Thanos gonna cry

Just play a Kul Tiran Druid in Moonkin form

The Sethrak of Vorrik are allied with the voldunai, who are specifically a Horde reputation and also subject to the (now-renamed) Purge Squads. Vorrik owes the vulpera, and the Horde, his life.

Now you might say “but Elly you dashing rogue-in-death-knight armour, the Alliance save Vorrik too!” and you would be correct. What the Alliance do not do however is then go on to support Vorrik against the Faithless, up to and including not only killing the evil emperor Korthek but also resurrecting their god, Sethraliss. And they’re almost certainly the ones who kill Mythrax canonically given how weaksauce the Alliance ties are to Uldir compared to the Horde.

Added to this, we see faithful Priests of Sethraliss (https://www.wowhead.com/npc=140204/priest-of-sethraliss) in Dazar’alor, hanging out with the Zandalari - not surprising considering they both worship loa, indicating they’re on friendly terms.

The Alliance, as it stands, is only mounting up reasons for the Faithful to hate them, not the opposite. Void Elves were created out of no where, true, but they’re not the same as the Faithful Sethrak who have only been given more and more reasons to dislike the Alliance over time.

Your argument stands.

Blizz can definitely not care about it and the story of Vol’dun and literally create a “Horde f over the Sethrak” scenario nullifying all of that. Could even be the Faithless Sethrak joining really, since they could just join another “Empire” as the Alliance. I’d even accept Sethrak as Neutral even though such status in Wow dooms your race as forever being uninteresting and involved in storylines.

Regardless… I’d be annoyed for them to just be thrown into the Horde… You already get Vulpera and I would hate getting Mechagnomes.

Too bad, nerd faction gets the nerd allied race that 600 people tops will actually play.

No one will get Sethrak, They lack:
A separate Female body (All playable races, allied or not, have a seperate Female body)
Blizz said no more neutral playable races

Times change.

Pandaren are the biggest of regrets.

Not at all, I can see some stuff involving people like Nisha causing a new conflict.

Today’s pet peeve: Computer freezing for over 30 min every time I DC, wasting a lot of my time and sucking out what little joy I have from playing this game.

Doubt. Nisha and Vorrik fought side by side in the last part of Vol’dun, and judging from character actions, Nisha is more of an aggressive defender than an aggressor.

Thhhhhhiiiiisssss!!

Seems Blizzard has already made some dumb mistakes, again.

Wait…mechagnomes are gonna be an actual thing? I thought people were joking. Brass my buttons Blizzard! That’s a horrific idea!

That can easily be changed though.

Not without either losing Vorrik’s or Nisha’s personalities. Vorrik is a Peacekeeper who believes in a strong unified Vol’dun. Nisha is an aggressive Defender, who acts against the wrongs of others upon her kind. if you changed either you would ruin what makes them likeable, they are both Hero archetypes that handle conflict in different ways.

Butchering characters is what Blizz does quite well though.

Vorrik only believed in an unified Sethrak empire under the religion of Sephraliss. Nisha already wanted to attack the Sethrak to begin with, she already had plans for that… It’s only Kiro who refrained her from attacking.

I think we all wish it was actually a joke.

Wrong, not the religion, the Teachings, and the Teachings don’t seem like things the Vulpera would be against if you assume Vorrik is a good practitioner of them.

That was before she knew about the Divide. The Setrhak she was going to attack were the Faithless because they were the only Sethrak the Hideaway new about.

Once you start throwing stuff like that out, literally anything is a justified theory.

“Well you know, blizzard do love butchering characters, so maybe Sylvanas and Tyrande will get married next patch and bring the night elves to the Horde! Definitely a subject worth discussing!”
