Pet peeve:
Bringing up topics like censorship and the ess jay dubbyas instantly makes you alt-right somehow.

Are these the mental gymnastics olympics?
Like sheesh, he’s a tad cringy but to jump on calling him alt-right? Bit exaggerated, as expected from arr pee ers

I was gonna mention that me being called “Alt-right” was probably some kind of defense mechanism for some people, considering how it really comes out of nowhere, and no one wants to explain why I am somehow alt-right.

Didn’t expect you to come to my defense, considering how I am the opposite of the progressive politically correct party

I mean yes, I am against this political correctness, but I don’t think that puts me on the same boat as people who hate other races.

I also written a tinfoil hat conspiracy part to this post, but it is probably too big a conspiracy theory.

I hope so that it does even more. I bought some stock. I hope it raises to infinity so that I get rich.

You might be disappointed. Most people I’ve seen talking about it are just calling it a dead cat bounce.

I need some help. I wanna play ME 1 however I wanna keep the advancement, level and gear I have on my male shepard but I’d like to Gender swap him as well. How do I do that cuz I starting from scratch again yo.

Edit : Nevermind, apparently it’s impossible without starting all over from ME1 or going straight to ME2 but you have no control over your past decisions in ME1.

Also F-U Bioware for making extensions of the game expensive, seriously Bioware points to get DLCs is ridiculous… This is why you’ll die.

So, if I’m to believe that wikipedia page, everything from Men’s Rights Groups to nationalists, racists to monarchists is “Alt-Right”.

Mind explaining why I’m being throw in the same boat as racists?

Because for some reason, being proud of who you are (Presumably a white man) makes you worse than those who club baby seals.

Yeah it’s already dropping again

They call anyone they disagree with such, have you not heard of the famous novel “Everyone I don’t like is literally hitler”?

Fair enough, still quite a shame D:

I gave one of those New Generation Hitman games a try (Seeing as they have a free demo on offer), and I noted a few things that were rather irksome.

You can’t survive more than five or six bullets shot in to you without falling over and dying.

Agent 47’s gun handling is absolutely terrible. Tried using a rifle and it kicked up like he had never used heavy firearms before.

You get negative score for killing other people (Granted this was already a thing in Absolution, but it’s still rather bothersome).

However, when I play something like Blood Money, I can go on a killing spree and all the game will do to scold me, is say that I am a Deranged Slayer, all the while the newspaper reporting my statistics.
Not to mention that I can use an SMG there and there will be barely any recoil, and Agent 47 is able to sustain more shots put in to him.

That feeling when a game’s design shifts to such a degree, that the older variants have more variety in approach to how you handle your job.

Bethesda did a stupid again, I don’t know how i feel about this

Extreme pet peeve: the new troll walking animation.

IT LOOKS LIKE MY CHARACTERS ARMS ARE HALF PARALYZED

WHY AND WHO DID THIS? IT LOOKS LIKE AS.S

…What? Have they changed something?

Yes, the hands don’t swing back and forth like before. It’s now closer to the old troll walk animation from before model revamp.

Meanwhile goblin weapons & shields continue being enormously humungolous when in a drawn position.

Eh, it’s always the baby steps with Blizzard. Maybe that one will be fixed in a couple of years.

Actually, come to think of it, it might get changed with the model revamp if enough people point the bug out. You and other goblin players should send suggestions in the in-game suggestion box.

I can’t be bothered getting into this yet again so I’ll just make one short reply to the alt-right thing in terms of what I’d consider alt-right:

Basically someone who is against including women or minority groups in media and the like (most commonly seen in games) and often trying their best to come up with reasons for why they shouldn’t be in games while showing hypocrisy (the most common one is “historical accuracy” but this only ever applies to including these groups and never to something like ridiculous game mechanics that don’t make sense for the time, the misrepresentation of events, etc.

I don’t necessarily consider alt-right people to be full blown racists, misogynist, etc. though I would say the majority tread the line, particularly regarding trans people.

I could go on, particularly about the political correctness myth, but I’m not going to try and convince anyone of anything, nor would I succeed if I did. I don’t think you’re a bad person or racist or anything Tubri, I just roll my eyes at a lot of stuff you say regarding that particular topic (though agree with you on other topics often enough).

I think this is a really bad argument.

Saying that a game based off of WW2 shouldn’t have excessive diversity because that wasn’t the case back then, while the game otherwise clearly attempts to capture a “realistic” aesthetic (munition range, reloading times, area destruction) isn’t at all comparable to saying that you are okay with game mechanics that are essential to making an engaging and a fun experience for the target audience.

It’s a really bad hyperbole.

Also Alt-right movement is undoubtedly a reaction to the infringement of individual liberties, traditional western values and cultural integrity, which are being upset by chaotic masses that speak very loudly, without actually offering a good alternative and have completely forgotten the greatest tragedy of the 20th century that happened in the Soviet union.

I don’t think at all that political correctness is a myth- There’s documented studies of it and it’s on the news nearly daily, regardless of whichever western country you live in. To me it’s not about convincing- It’s literally just reading a couple of well peer-reviewed articles, following reliable media sources and studying history.
