Pet Peeve #INFINITY - Thanos gonna cry

The stigma is real, unfortunately. I RP my ‘teen’ character as a rather immature and energetic 23 year old just to dodge it.

Wait, are we talking characters who are a child or teen, or the people who walk around talking in cutsie voices, eating so many cookies they should have diabetes and hanging in the back of the slaughtered lamb with a bunch of demon hunters and death knights because that’s apparently where a kid would be instead of at the park.

The first part is the part I RP - a teen who plays the fiddle for tips. The second part you mention is the kind that give the first part a bad name - never met one till yesterday myself, but I often get negative whispers from people who have never RPed with me simply because of my character being a teen and their past bad experiences with the cutesiewootsie cwookie-eating demon babies.

Then pay no attention to the whispers, it is a fact that RPers are some of the worst and most hypocritical people on the planet, our murderous tendencies are only held back by constant peeve and Drama threads.

Oooh hoh hoh hoh… Bethesda and EA seem to be pouring gas over the fire of gamer disappointment/anger.

EA: Let us go call people uneducated and tell people to not buy our game. And then make fun of the people who don’t like the way we’re marketing our game.

Bethesda: Let’s release a game a few months after announcement, which means the game will be a fairly buggy and unfinished game. Also let us advertise a Canvas bag but deliver a Nylon bag instead. Oh, and let’s ban players for trying to make the best out of a bad situation.

And Rockstar seems to be planning on making RDR2 Online somewhat Pay to Win… Huh, that doesn’t sound good at all.

Did someone say child RP?

Orc’s are mostly illiterate.

Where is this mentality coming from? When did this start being a thing? I mean, I get that Peons are not likely to be Shakespeare but when did we become Ork’s?

Personally I blame the Mag’har, coming over here, hanging around on street corners with their ‘clan’ tattoos and…oh my God what have I become…

Sweet zombie Jesus.
Where did you bump into that? I’ll assume Stormwind.

I am pretty sure that baby isn’t actually a baby, but a Gnome pretending to be a baby in order to get his hands on a diamond that he failed to steal.

(If anyone is able to get that, then you’re probably as old as me)

I wanna get stuck in with da boyz!

Seriously though, the idea that a classic Orc should be illiterate doesn’t make much sense. It probably comes from people’s preconceived notion that all Orcs are stupid who can’t form a coherent sentence, since they’re big and brutish and war-like and all that. Usually traits connected to individuals who rolled snake eyes for intellect.

Honestly, I’d say those people are playing the wrong videogame, since Orcs are fairly sophisticated in WoW, and there are other games who also showcase Orcs being civilized.

I disagree with the implication that being illiterate automatically means you are stupid (and I suspect a RL illiterate would not be happy to hear this). It’s perfectly possible that an orc, or any other individual of the player races who isn’t educated, is illiterate because they simply were never taught how to read or write; this could be for a number of reasons unrelated to intelligence.

I realised that I miss Red Dead Redemption. The first game that is.

Unfortunately, no idea where my game disc is, and even then I am not sure if my Xbox is still operational.

I might pull it out of the box, and test its waters. After that, gonna look around and see if the game can be found anywhere. Certainly would be nice to jump back in to that game, muck around, hogtie people without much consequence, while awaiting RDR2.

Speaking of that game: Pay to Win microtransactions suck, and gameplay that is too grindy also suck. People calling you a hypocrite (Not directly but are most likely thinking it) because you are adamant about boycotting EA and Bethesda over bad business and PR practices, but not Rockstar.

Granted, I feel like it would be warranted if I were to go and only play the multiplayer, but there is also the singleplayer which I am certain is the main attraction for a large number of people.

Did you by any chance play around WoD?

Make Loh Go.

The boundaries of the maze are just hard to see in some instances.

While the boundary thing is bad, my main peeve with this quest is that it’s just the same thing each time, with three mazes.

This would’ve been fine as a one-time quest, but as a world quest, it’s just incredibly lazy. Doing the same maze every few days is not fun.
