Pet Peeve: The Undying

Why hasn’t Chen Stormstout been brought to face his crimes against the Kul Tiran people?

the trial for chen stormstout must now take place and be judged by the celestials
this time anduin is fa’shua

Both having the wit and badinage, but lacking the courage to post something on Facebook going “Look, Will do VA work for free, as long as I get credits, trying to build up a portfolio” That’s a Peeve. I am literally sat here trying to word it.

On that note, is Bwonsamdi a Darkspear or a Zandalari Loa?

Considering that death eventually comes to every troll, he’s a Multi-tribe Loa… However only Zandalari and Darkspear actively worship him.

Both. Bwonsamdi has much more important role in the Darkspear society, though, being sort of their patron loa.

Peeve of the morning - another delayed salary. I s2g :japanese_goblin:

Which is how it was/is in real life.

I meant by origin, because he’s extremely involved in Zandalar (a culture that predates Darkspear) but Bwonsamdi himself seems to be Darkspear based on his heavy accent and posture (the latter can be due to being decrepit like Zul though)

Thing is, he existed before the trolls, so he may just have taken this shape.

Decided to give Sekiro a bash, and… Well, it certainly is cut from a different cloth than the other From Software games, and I think I like it more than the other ones for that.

That being said, currently stuck in front of two bosses… One is a spear-wielding fatao that I can get a sneak attack off on him but get destroyed regardless, and the other is an ogre who is giving me Mr. Shakedown vibes from Yakuza 0 how I am dodging and then jumping in to get a few hits in whenever it’s reeling back from its attack. Gotta figure out where and how to use fire against it…

Other than that, really enjoying the combat, the mobility, and it looks like a really lovely game.

There’s a dude you can talk to to help with this fight.

it is “the drunk” isn’t it?

Apart from looking at the gilnean nobles rp scene in SW who have the vocabulary to put even the hardiest sailors to shame. I blame people’s misconception that to RP a gruff, Hardy brit is to swear a lot. You can be gruff and British without needing to swear at all.

Nobles might occasionally use phrases like bugger. But I’ve seen f bombs and such. As well as dropping gs like

“Yer think you can come up ta me talkin’ like that yer &~^in’ pig&#~er? Ims a nobles I ams, doncha know?”

Yeah, from the house of “Terrible Dick Van Dyke Cockney Chimney Sweeps Tributes” maybe.

As others have said, the commoners show a more relaxed accent along Darkspear Jamaican lines whereas the upper class have a strict west african affectation.

Some npcs have regular darkspear voices because that’s the standard WoW troll voice set and they’re just factory standard darkspear npcs with a zandalari coat of paint, given no grand significance nor unique voice actors.

speaking of darkspear and zandalari

It peeves me ever so slightly how in nazmir the dead “zandalar” trolls use darkspear models
go look at the camp in the beginning of the quest line, those zandalar dressed trolls are darkspear, same thing happens near the end when you fight your way towards the pyramid, you heal some zandalari trolls but they are actually darkspear in golden armor.

I wish every class that wields a 2H weapon had the option to sling it over their shoulder like Brewmaster monks do with the artifact.
It’d make more sense than it does having them float on your back in some situations, especially since there’s going to be an option now with shirtless mogs.

I would honestly wish some of the neat details carried over to future weapons
arrows for bows, the spear holding animation for humans when they wield large hammers with long handles etc.

You could actually pull off the spear pose with hammers in Legion as a Holy Paladin. Silver Hand used the spear animations on it and sometimes they carried over even if you mogged it.

but it didn’t carry over to BfAs hammers, right?

It did not, as the Silver Hand Hammer is actually a reskinned polearm as a unique weapon.

I wish the Gilded and Ardent Warhammer were long aswell just like what they were in wc3…

Or at least let us mog Silver Hand on ret

I really love to have a Warhammer for my paladin which is akin to wc3 ones
