Violence in RP and no, it’s not what you think.
I just realized that I’ve got some heavy double standards that is difficult to detect regarding violence in RP. I often complain about others not necessarily looking for other means to get around an issue without resulting to violence but I am just as guilty… Well I don’t act upon it IC but my brain OOC tends to say “It’s a problem? Kill it!”.
I got the satisfying feeling of neither winning nor losing today after a bit of an argument IC… I got a story to tell, did not resulted to lethal means of violence (Like just cat fight so to speak) instead of using sword, magic or other dangerous means.
I think more often than not one should just think “If this happened to me IRL, what would I do to try and get my way?” And more often than not, it’s obvious… I guess it’s because it’s a video game that we think every problem’s solution is death.

It’s more of an Azeroth / Warcraft universe thing. Most problems in the game are solved by killing the enemy, be that a simple thief or anything else. Individual lives aren’t really valued much, judging from quests and so on.

Might be a lack of sleep. I had the exact same thing at one point because I stayed up all night reading.
Peeve: Classic will not have language specific realms. I can’t wait to get to 60 then realise I’m on the unofficial German server. I don’t think my D in GCSE German will help me out much.
