Remind me again how EA is still a buisness while basically yearly being voted and winning the worst company of the year award.
It makes a lot of money, and thatâs the only metric that really matters in late-stage capitalism.
They own all of the properties that everyone wants to play, and their game making policies while controversial, make a ton of money.
What I meant was that if we had to take in to account every âmajorâ phobia out there, weâd be shapeless blobs fighting shapeless blobs.
Thereâs so few people that have phobias that, honestly, taking them into account is just bad business practice.
You also went on saying that people with phobiaâs (or in your specific case that phobia related to Vashjâir) are a â[edit: relatively large] groupâ, while that is just not true.
Sorry, but I have to agree with the person earlier, who called it pampering to the few people who have a phobia.
We can disagree on this though, you just do you and I do what I do.
What by Mekkatorqueâs bronze spanner is a late-stage capitalism?
If you ignore all the side content, big empty zones with no storylines, fetch-quests and Sera, I think the game was quite enjoyable.
The main story was both good and bad; I feel like it relied a bit too much on written texts and exposition through the mission board. And the finale boss fight was a bit lack luster in my opinion.
I also just couldnât shake the feeling that Corypheus really wasnât âmyâ (the inquisitorâs) antagonist. It was Hawkeâs.

Kicking her out of the inquisition after she messes up her own personal quest thing is very satisfying though.
Controversial opinion, but I thought the story of Dragon Age 2 was excellent. It was however let down by the dumbing down of the gameplay and the horribly repetitive environments.
It was a much more grounded story I thought which we donât often get in RPGs. It had wide implications for the world of Thedas but playing through the flashpoint that leads to the Mage/Templar war was great.
Big agree. DA2 has the best storyline of the bunch, with big emotional moments, great setups and pay-offs throughout the course of the game, and cool involvement of your companions, that really make them feel more like their own people with their own narratives, rather than just your sidekicks.
Also they made Flemmeth hot
Sounds more like a US of A problem then a European one, since our continent has more socialism aspects
Definatly agree on the last one. Corypheus was cool and all, but it was mainly a Hawke villian and Hawke story. They -really- wanted Hawke to be like their big MC character of the franchise, but Hawke has a very dull personality.
The zones were lackluster yeah, and tbh I quite liked Sera once you got more closer to her. She wasnt the most enjoyable character, but okay. But I have heard she is basically insufferable if you played a male character. Iron Bull was lots of fun.
DA2âs story was very good. Hawke as a MC was rather boring though, and the repeat of the same darn cave for -every- cave in the game was awful.
Sarcastic Hawke > Good Hawke
I really like Hawke, but I also give him a very tragic storyline of loss, betrayal and sacrifice, culminating with his self-sacrifice in Inquisition. Itâs actually made him one of my favorite DA characters
Yes but angry Hawke takes the cake
Itâs less bad in liberal democracies in Europe, but itâs still a problem.
My first Hawke got together with Anders. Big misstake. Whiniest manchild of the franchise.
My second one just went full sarcastic mode and hooked up with Isabela, much more fun. Ultimate sadness you couldnt flirt with Varric though.
Hawke is a top lad/ladette and I was super pumped to see them turn up in Inquisition with the same personality type as youâd played them as in DA2. Obviously the portrayal couldnât be perfect because youâre not in control but still.
Ironically I stopped playing Inquisition just after I accidentally got them killed by making a wrong choice.
Sounds more like a US of A problem then a European one, since our continent has more socialism aspects
While itâs definitely a problem in America, a lot of these corps are global and things that affect America likewise will affect other nations. Being aware of it also helps prevent such things happening âover hereâ.
My first Hawke got together with Anders. Big misstake. Whiniest manchild of the franchise.
Romance anders and then execute him. Itâs the only choice for me.
Dragon Age: Awakenings Anders > DA2 Anders.
Always romance Anders and then make the hard choice at the end of the storyline. I think that sets up Hawke really well for his ending in DA:I
