There’s this big tearfull culmination where Merill comes into Hawke’s villa shouting about how he can’t save her, but Hawke says he won’t stop trying and it’s quite powerfull

Also related, and back to Inqusistion. The times I do replay it I am torn. The templar story is -alot- more fleshed out and interesting to me, but the templar villian Calpernia is -nothing- compared to Samson.

Only ever roll Blood Mage or Battle Mage in DA: Origins.

Don’t conform to the mold the templars would force upon you. Cast off the chains, destroy the chantry.

He was a blood mage in the cinematic trailer thing where he fights the arishok (though it’s also implied he was romancing Isabela which is CLEARLY WRONG).

Carver is the more interesting sibling for sure.

The devs of DA2 put their heart and soul in where they could - they got let down by not having enough time and resources to do the gameplay side of it justice.
