Pet Peeve: The Undying

Joker and EDI was the best romance going.

Aye. I often picked destruction ending and I always felt regret because EDI was no longer among the crew.

However the synthethis ending is seriously lame IMO… It’s an ideal decision for the galaxy, ensuring eons of peace certainly… But for us player who’ve been there all along, it’s really underwhelming.

Missing Thane and Mordin.

Disqualified.

Disqualified for disqualifying.

The final choice of ME3 echoed the decision for Legion’s loyalty in ME2 except a lot dumber.

Synthesis and Control were the reprogramming choice while destroy was…well, destroy.

More than anything though, Synthesis was a direct rejection of one of the core (Paragon) messages of the series especially re:geth+quarian - that being that disparate groups/races can work together rather than against each other. Synthesis says no to that, people couldn’t do it, so they need to be forced to do it by spacemagic. Screw that noise.

Of course it’s all moot since those endings didn’t really happen and actually Shepard just defeated the Reapers and then had a big party on the Citadel with some clone shenanigans along the way.

I can only really justify the destroy ending, because -why- would you trust the reapers or the intelligence that controls them. It would be diffrent if the Reapers had been cold, machine-like and just carried out what they did, but both Harbinger and Sovereign displayed meglomania, superiourity complex, and actual -evil- personalities, delighting in crushing the living races and seeing their fear and suffering.

Destroy is the only safe and logical solution from the game’s own lore.

Shortly after the release, I angrily typed up over a dozen pages of how ME3 could have been so much better if only they did this, and this, and this…

Thankfully, I’ve forgotten most of it. There’s few things worse than the headcanon of a disgruntled fan. Sometimes it’s best to just sigh when the things we once enjoyed don’t live up to our expectations, rather than get angry over it.

Sigh, and laugh at how bad ME:A was.

I’m a tad puzzled on the whole Race for World First. Who are the bad guys here? Method or Red Bull?

And people kept saying: “This is the Bioware B-team. The A-team is working on Anthem!”

Anthem seemed to be forgettable, I say ‘seemed’ because I didn’t even play it. I haven’t seen a single meme, or even a single memorable thing about Anthem that I can mention. All I know is that it’s a mediocre Destiny clone.

ME:A, on the other hand, is bad. I say this as someone that paid full price for it at release. The story is bad. The dialogue writing is bad. The models are bad. The animations are bad. When the best thing about a Bioware game is the gameplay, you know that something’s gone horribly, horribly wrong.

They made Destiny but instead of everyone being master chief everyone is iron man.

and also it’s not fun and the story is boring and the characters aren’t interesting and there’s no choices that matter because it had to be a multiplayer game. Some of the robots look cool though. I guess.

I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s quietly shut down within a year of its release tbh.

Finished Shadowbringers main story. Twas awesome.
You have to do one role quest line to the end though, so make sure you keep up with that.
Now I have to level up something else, as well as the Scions in dungeons.

Nice! It does look pretty solid. I have been sidetracked on my viera today. If I can get on that is, its 1k people queue to get on Spriggan.

I’m up to date with it so far! Or at least i was, a lot happened with Titania and decided I needed a bit of a break.

Wait, they don’t level up with you?

Once you’ve cleared the story, they go back to 71 and you can use any of them in any dungeon from Holminster upward. So going to level Y’shtola, Thancred and Alisae. Urianger if I dps instead of heal.
Also, role quests were a decent substitute for class quests. They give you 80 gear at the end like the last class quest would.

Peeve: Decided to not buy Warcraft 3: Reforged, as I just can’t accept their bull :poop: with changes aspects of it and adding more story to specifically Jaina and Sylvanas, just for the sake of adding more for ‘‘females’’ for no reason.

Also their removal of certain crude jokes, because apparently it doesn’t fit in with todays world, and thus changes have to be made!

Ugh, take your politics and shove it Blizzard. -_-

Could you point me to any sources depicting the changes, Jessicka? A link would be welcome. :open_mouth:
I didn’t find anything about that on the net.

‘’ [Christie Golden] will help bring parity to the stories of Warcraft III and World of Warcraft as well as further develop characters like [Jaina Proudmoore] and [Sylvanas Windrunner], who only played supporting roles in Warcraft III but have since become far more prominent characters in the setting.’’

I can’t find the thing about the crude jokes, but I know I’ve read it, else I wouldn’t have mentioned it.

>parameter pessimism 1

>say Ouch. That sounds pretty terrible to be honest. I don’t exactly hate on Christie Golden, but with how she managed to pin tails on worgen (which as she stated wasn’t a mistake just once in the book but multiple times) in Before the Storm I pray she won’t reveal now that orcs take steroids or something like that.

This in ten characters.

I dislike changes for the sake of changes. Warcraft 3 was fine as it was story wise, you didn’t need additional story for Sylvanas and Jaina, they were supporting characters, not main.

Sylvanas and Jaina wasn’t really main characters in WoW until Wrath (at least with Sylvanas) at least, and Jaina became one mainly in MoP.

re: according to the wiki they’re also changing lines of dialogue which sounded ‘too modern’ and were ‘placeholders in the final product’ which to be honest is something that I do not remember.
