To be honest it’s a weird moment of realization when you know that the new raid just released and that even so a bunch of gear from it on normal is already a downgrade for you.
Well, the old season score will still show, and thats an indicator to go by still.
IRL Peeve : Kids who are clearly old enough to walk on their own two feet for a while being overly indulged by having them on strollers.
I’m not gonna tell people how to raise their kids… But won’t change how irritating it is to me to have public transports constantly clogged by those darn things.
As mechagon drops 415 most pugs are insisting on 400 minimum. I’d say 398 isn’t an issue for dps, so long as you can pull the numbers on dps.
The thing with it is the ilevel is so so important. Knowing what to do and when, is important. There are trash mobs that are nasty and can wipe, and same for bosses. My own group earlier was all over 400 (I was lowest at 402, tank perks) but we struggled as one of our dps was pulling barely more than me on single target dps. That and there were mistakes on bosses. In mecha atm unless you outgear the dungeon pretty hard, mistakes on bosses are pretty unforgiving and can easily oom your healer before the boss dies due to the healing pressure they create.
I’m gonna try and look for another group later tonight and in later weeks. As a guild less Gnome wonder anyone who wants to pal up and try to do such with me (or just mythic in general, damn I need a weapon, crashing my average ilevel down hard) will be more than welcome to whisp in game. I’m not of the elitist go go go mindset, keep things chilled. That said I’m not a fan of wipes due to people just not trying or being responsive to mistakes they’re making repeatedly. I’m not a wealthy Gnome and repair bills hurt.
I’ve not done much group content in WoW since…basically Legion.
Man I have not missed puglets. Especially Demon Hunters.
Well damn…
I don’t have an exact number but we had one member pulling 7k dps which was the letdown. I don’t play dps regularly enough nor use add ons to know what the “marker” is for ilevel 400 but I’d assume its above that given the kinds of numbers I see in my own single target makes me think I’m surpassing that myself as a tank.
Okay I finished mechagon dungeon now
Peeve: The trash was harder than the early bosses which were harder than the later bosses.
Machinist’s Garden and King Mechagon were way easier+less hectic than trogg and trixie/naeno bosses.
Isn’t that the Antorus dps?
It’s probably less than a third of what you should be doing right now…
I have no idea. I’ve never done dps meters. But the number did seem low based on numbers I see.
Having looked at some sites yeah, for that class and spec they should be doing about 2.5 times that apparently at 400 ilevel. Double that for 385 gear. Ouch. I wondered why our boss fights seemed like epic raid encounters. 8k more dps adds up a lot over a minute fight!
Watching Youtube for like ten minutes seems to cause screen burn on either monitor where all the blinding white is.
And this happens on either of my monitors, bit of a PITA. I rather wish there was a way to tone down the pure white on browsers and youtube without impacting everything else.
I just finished the Mechagon dungeon and I love it. It’s better than Karazhan and even a little more challenging than it was at release. I do concur that I’m talking about the second half here, but I have my BiS essence now and some new gear including bracers with a fun on-use effect.
I wish Mechagon actually was an underground zone instead of what we got. It’s fun to explore the dungeon.
People who leave before Celebras the cursed is dead.
props to my healer and the last DPS for sticking around.
Some dome on the bottom of the sea would make a lot more sense if it was never found before.
Blame this on Blizzard, as you still get the ‘‘dungeon finished’’ XP and item bag after the Satyr still.
My group killed Machinist by accident because we went in blind and didn’t realise he was a boss.
Yeah.
I always do this. You get the dungeon completion XP after the satyr, which is just about all the XP of a dungeon. No point in sticking around after that.
You’re the worst.
You get XP after killing Celebras too.
A negligible amount. It is by far more efficient to just queue again.
