Peeve: People who don’t finish low level dungeons 100% (does not include killing every mob). >:c
Now lissen here you lil friend, leveling is a lengthy enough endeavour without slowing it down further!
YOU lissen here you cagefaced panda, it goes FAST if people aren’t dum-dums!
I cleared Zul’Farrak real fast last night on my Kul Tiran tankyboi.
You’re the worst.
I mean, I’ll kill most things in my path, but I won’t run to a different part of the dungeon where I wont go normally. :3
I tried Mechagon on my warrior with a pug. We got trogg and gunker down.
Gunker was a few wipes. But the two gnomes wiped us so hard we gave up.
I ran Mechagon yesterday with Elly and another buddy and now I want to do more PvE stuff again but finding regulars is eh and I don’t care enough about M+ stuff…
Well, I am in at least. I seriously dislike m+ but I don’t mind other forms of content, and running with reliable people seems to be the best way of going about it.
Mythic+ is only good if you do it with a bunch of friends/guildies, otherwise its meh.
I really enjoyed running M+ with chill guildies in Legion but sadly that guild seems to have died a death.
In my recollection running it with pubs was a complete crapshoot that could turn out fine or could be actively unpleasant and tended towards the latter.
I usually make my own Groups, and if people are rude I kick 'em.
I don’t care if I gotta 4-man it. T_T
The advantage of being a warlock is you can teleport people to you if you have to kick a jerk. It does require you to maintain an friends list of people you can ask or be in an active guild though.
I dislike the googogogogogogogo mentality of m+.
With raid bosses it’s at least only 5 minutes or so of intensity at a time. With m+ it can be like 40 minutes.
I also really dislike how much m+ inflates item level. Palace has been out for one day and people are already asking for the same ilvl it drops just to join groups.
This never happened in MoP.
Well, my Guild does have a weekly mythic+ night for weekly chest.
It did.
A lot of people required ridiculous ilvl at times, and MoP was the expansion that actually started the whole ‘‘Link Curve’’, since it didn’t exist pre-MoP.
It was more chill in MoP with it though, since there was only raiding back then (and stuff from faction rep).
I don’t seem to remember the same thing.
Titanforging not existing and Thunderforging being more limited, free gear also being more limited (no weekly free heroic raid level item from warfront) and so on really ensured that item level was more representative of who you are looking at.
There was a 20 ilvl gap from LFR to normal but only a 13 ilvl gap from normal to heroic. The reason everyone is tryharding with raider io and the like is that the group finder is packed with really well geared people who got raid level gear from LFR warforges, WQs, warfront weeklies and now benthic gear, but who do not perform well at all as all these sources of gear are so trivial they are essentially impossible to fail.
MoP way of Warforge/Titanforge was way better, with Warforge being 5 ilvls, and Titan/Thunderforge being 10. And then you could upgrade your gear with Valor Points. I’m so pissed that they changed this.
It was 13 ilvls between the difficulties, at least in Terrace of Endless Spring.
What I dislike about mythic+ is the people who require raider.io for about everything. Really, that system is just terrible. It’s not even that good of an indicative that you’re skilled enough for the content you’re applying for! How’s running Siege of Boralus, Tol Dagor, and Kings’ Rest (which are all necessary to build up the general score people tend to look at) going to help me with my MOTHERLODE or Waycrest Manor run? Not to mention the people that require raider.io for their Operation: Mechagon runs. Yes, I saw that happening.
Oh, I am talking about ToT! Hence the mention of Thunderforge as well. ToT was my favourite tier. I remember that LFR was 502, norma 522 and heroic 535.
And, then yes, that is correct.
