Peeve: I completed an Adventurers League DM quest that allows me to create a character with 8 treasure checkpoints… two days before season 9 starts and treasure checkpoints are removed.

Recovery is boring!
So was what I was doing at work as a result of being injured. It’d drive me into a poor mental state too, so home.
Going to watch Mindhunter and eat pot noodle.
Just do a hobby or something. You don’t to make things harder for yourself, do you?

If you have to do a hobby, it’s a lot less enjoyable. Also, I enjoy doing active things which I can’t do. I’ll eventually play WoW or Gears.

think my allergies are acting up again, one side of my nose is blocked and i have pain in my head on the same side and a sensation in my eye (kind of like when you’re tired? Except its only one eye)
Wish I could, but I have an exam tomorrow. And the day after. And on Friday…
And I have to ace them all. I must maintain the perfect score. So no going out for me this week. That’s my peeve I guess.
My cat has respiratory issues. Once in a blue moon, his breathing acts up; he drools excessively, sprawls out, and makes an audible, stifled exhale whenever he breathes. It’s super distressing to deal with when it happens. I’ve taken him to the vets in the past when it’s occurred, but they charge me £400/£500 every time I bring him in.
It’s ongoing at the moment, but all I can do is wait it out. I don’t have the cash to spend on him on an issue they only ever temporarily fix, so I just gotta let it pass, wait until he gets better on his own. My pet peeve of the day is definitely my incapability to help him. Mood.

Just seems like the restrictions on S9 are designed to force you to make new characters from scratch rather than keep up ones you’ve already had fun with+developed.
I wouldn’t say so. They completely reworked and simplified the rules — and abandoned the much-maligned seasonality rule. The only thing about the new rules I don’t like is super-fast progression, since now you can take a level upon completing any adventure, even a 2-hour one.
Just got a call bout taking out life insurance.
I told the guy I wouldn’t be agreeing to anything. He was so nice… But also annoying. Damn northern Brits with their weird accents and their charming sunny natures.
I can relate, we have utility companies come to your door to try and peddle contracts to you.

The north does seem to be full of call centres, I worked in one while I still lived up there.
I think it’s because no one can really understand what we’re saying and get pulled in by our charm.
