The Goblin model update is super disappointing. Some serious same-face problems going on there.
I remember the Gnomes had a similar problem during development but they were forced to fix it because the community called them out on it. Might have even been for most of the races?
Itās just one face with different eyebrows/eye colours. Itās real sad because the originals had way more character.

One of the many things I tend to dislike when OOC interaction takes place is that. For you itās funny and pushyā¦ Iāve seen instances where itās down right creepy. Thereās this weird interest of wanting to know about what others do or have IRL when really, those kind of details naturally come up through discussion (Or never at all).
I for one, the less I know about my friendsā personalā¦ Idk status, the better it allows me to focus on the content of their character.
When itās rumors and gossip (which is more or less worse because how fast false informations travels between discord servers) itās pretty ridiculous and itās best tell people individually in PM to stop it or clear things up unless one knows it will just make it worse.

To be fair, worgen model also has the same issue.
Atleast the worgen have faces that look nice in same face. Goblins dont.

Females look better than males, but both look weird. Too much eye shine, maleās eyes are now too wide. Lips are huge. Brows seem frozen in a strange position which makes their expression hard to readā¦ They donāt look like the sneaky, moody race I know.
It feels especially noticeable to me on the female Goblins, they had really distinct faces between them before the update.

And females are all cross eyed.
The one with the over the top eye make up is still easy to recognise for meā¦ Thatās about it.
I hope theyāll do something about it, but if they didnt do anything all PTR they probably wont.

I agree. The instances where some random has asked my pals āYou are (character name)'s boyfriend right?ā Iāve found funny even if pushy - but whenever Iāve heard of people actually bringing the subject up as if they were facts or making some juicy speculation, it can be very annoying because of the misinformation being spread.

I donāt think enough people play on PTR, and these things tend to be more noticeable when youāre in game, in your own gear.
Hopefully people will bring it up.
People brought up the horrible worgen male shoulder positioning thatās been going since Cataclysm and Blizzard ignored it.

That involves downloading and playing it though. My point remains.
When you think about it itās a pretty childish way of thinking. As if no one can hang out with others without some āteeheeheeā way of thinking they might be dating.
When I was asked such question, I used to be pretty rude about it becauseā¦ It is a question you shouldnāt have to ask really. Itās none of their business, especially if they are indeed total strangers, so props to you for staying polite and calm.
In the end, the real damage as you said is the misinformation. The people doing it might think itās all fun and harmless but itās not when youāre the subject of it.
