Pet Peeve: The Undying

I’m gonna say the  word

take 1 teaspoon of baking soda, pour it in a glass and fill it with water. Drink.

ps nobody saw that

1 teaspoon of what

I know the feeling, all too intimately. Sending prayers your way

u saw nothing :hocho:

I’m assuming you don’t have antacids to hand, so green veg will help if it’s especially bad.

Alternatively bananas are apparently good.

Source: I quickly googled

Don’t take it too often though (usually 1 - 2 doses is enough) since it’s got a lot of salt in it, but it will 100% work and the relief is instant.

tastes like garbage though

Ginger and licorice are good too. If there’s any acid reflux you should also raise your torso when laying down, so that it can’t travel up so easily.

Curious, has there ever been any incel hate on these/old forums towards women?

OOC, nothing overt.

IC, tons. Hence the original part of this whole discussion being a whole bunch of people throwing gendered slurs about Sylvanas

Tuberculosis came close

Thanks for the suggestions everyone🤗.

Got bananas and baking soda at hand.

This.

I’ve encountered these sort of players over the years, who manifest what seems to be their OOC frustration toward the opposite gender in their roleplay. It’s usually coupled with the dominance power-fantasy of ‘taking what’s theirs’.

Also, if you need to take painkillers, take something like paracetamol not ibuprofen (or whatever your local variants might be). The latter can/will exacerbate the problem.

Source: I only take paracetamol for the same reason these days.

Cocodamol is the medicine of kings

You have activated my trap card.

If, as you claimed…

…Why haven’t we seen an equal influx of such language (attempted) to be normalized, pushed even, on these forums or other platforms (or in general, OOC) (including the discords you and I both habit!)? Even if there’d be bans (which there are), the language should be much more common- Which it evidently isn’t.

On the other hand…

I’ll give you that.

I was given what I think was max-strength co-codamol after I had surgery last year and everything was wonderfully fluffy and fuzzy for the days following.

I simply live with the pain

Oh God, you’d think something called baking soda would be somewhat sweet or neutral…

It’s the saltiest thing I’ve ever drank, beats even dried shark meat which I ate abundantly as a child.
My acid reflux feels better at least.
