Well if we can toggle between the old and new, I will have them all on the “old” way. It’s what I grew up with and who I remember.
When I play Warcraft 3 now, I don’t hear Laura Bailey or Patty. I hear the VA’s before them.
They obviously aren’t going to do this, but at least the replacement VAs have been good choices. The majority of the old cast is also still intact such as Medivh and Kael’thas.

I don’t mind the new VA’s at all. The only one I legitimatly hope they keep, and I think they most definatly will since he has been the same one in WoW/Hots and Hearthstone too, is Kel’Thuzad & Uther, Michael McConnohie.

I was under the impression he was talking about Warcraft 3, but I suppose it’s nice for those who want it. I’d rather have updated dialogue that makes sense with the WoW continuity than not have it though.
I also hope they keep Shandris’ new VA as well.

Fwiw I think WoW does have great ambient tracks. My gripe is that with bosses they don’t seem to really… Try? 99% of the time either it’s just the same ambient track that’s been playing for the entire raid, or it’s just literally silence. The only boss “theme” that my brain’s MP3 player can recall is the Argus fight because it was unique and stuck out. I couldn’t even begin to remember what plays when fighting Deathwing or the Lich King. I’ll have to look it up now because I’m curious what plays in their fights.

But you’re fighting hideous amalgamations, more than actually fighting Deathwing. His fight is the last bit, really.
Also, FFXIV music is great. WoWs music is OK, but Vol’dun is boring… It was also my least favourite zone. I liked it, but eh. I am more interested in Loa lore, and the desert lacked it. I’d like to know more about Sethraliss, and what Vulpera think on her and the Loa in general.
The only good track in FF14 is Good king moggle mog. The rest is trash.
