And then from there make a topic, the first/default category for where to post it is Argent Dawn, due to our high activity/threads(3370), with the 2nd one being Draenor on like 1500.
The -really- stupid thing though, is that all the basic forums like General Discussion etc that have way more posts, are placed at the very bottom of the category list. The top are realms first, with AD being nr.1
So that’s the main reason why people who either dont know the forums at all or just quickly smack up a thread without properly checking where end up on AD.
Yeah, it’s a weird system, I figured it might be something like this.
I don’t really blame people for doing it since I think on AD it’s easy to forget that most players don’t use the forums anywhere near as much as this community does, but it’s something they really should change.
All they really need to(and should do) is put general discussions at the top spot instead of near the very bottom, not only because its better than realms being there, but its also the one that geniuenly has the most activity.
Remember when they had to remove the Popular Topics section on the old forums because on multiple occasions every single popular topic was from Argent Dawn?
Good times :’)
(I choose to believe this is the reason they did that)
It reminds me how they utterly butchered Nilfgaard in the series.
Nilfgaard in the (Titans forgive me for uttering this word) Netflix ‘adaptation’ series still make me so mad I can feel my hairline receding at the mere thought. I hope season 2 will be better, cause Henry is literally carrying the show lol.
I think it got better as it went on (in general, anyway), but yeah, Nilfgaard was done dirty alright. I do kind of like their portrayal as a nation that was mocked and ridiculed until they grew in power and started invading, but their general portrayal was really bad (especially that armour - eugh).
I still think they should’ve gone with a similar design to what Nilfgaard wore in the games. It would’ve been ballsy as heck, and given all of the WW2 parallels that are in the books, quite accurate too.
Well, I can get over uniforms being wrong, but the creators of the series said they were drawing their inspiration from the books, right? If that is true, then those parallels will become rather inescapable if they plan on making more seasons and stay atleast somewhat true to the books.
wearing face masks when I have to go outside makes me feel very cyberpunk but I could definitely do without my breath fogging up my glasses
that’s less cool, honestly, I would rate it as distinctly unsuave. I saw one person suggest putting some toilet paper folded up just below the top edge of the mask but I tried that and it didn’t work for me.
my masks and my glasses get into a fight with each other and i either end up with my glasses falling off my nose while being fogged up or my mask slipping off my face.
