Pet peeves: The return (Part 1)

In Wrath those two guys gave you the weekly dungeon/raid quests, and the boss target of the quests would appear as a hologram behind the swirlies.

Like so.

Oh! I remember these quests, but I don’t think I ever paid attention to what was behind the quest givers back in Wrath. This clarifies it!

Mum’s birthday today. Another year and I’m still as proud of her as ever and I love her dearly.

A nice day :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I’m down to 60k after hitting level 80 last night and immediately blowing my load on new cool looking armour.

Our lifestyles are wildly different.

If they could foresee Jaraxxus why didn’t they just prevent him from being summoned in the first place?

Tirion activates the Human Male Paladin Privilege card, thus negating any Responsibility-type effects for the rest of time.

I cast [Summon: Fearsome Doomguard] but accidentally summon Krosus instead

It’s way more likely that they foresaw the summoning of Jaraxxus and used it as a convenient way to get rid of him by way of an accident.

The Kirin Tor don’t even need to lift a finger to get rid of a dangerous magic user. Just let the summoning go ahead and make sure there are enough hardy adventurers on hand to clean up the fallout.

I haven’t levelled in nearly a week now, just been alternating between Rimworld and FF14 stonks

teach me your ways

All I’ve done is unlock Diadem and grind Botany there. Gave me something chill to do while watching shows/listening to music

There’s a cookie levemete at max level culinary that essentially prints money (at the cost of using up all your leve allocations).

Just have to level CUL to 78 first. I bought pretty much everything off the market board and think I only lost ~400k gil on my way to max level, which I made back pretty quick.

Think there’s one for blacksmith too.

I’m guessing there’ll be a similarly profitable thing at 90 in endwalker. So don’t neglect those crafting jobs!

I haven’t touched crafting yet, so maybe that’s the key here. I’ve been tunnel visioning the story, which I’m gradually nearing the end of.

I plan on doing a crafting job at some point soon, but I’ve been happy enough chugging along with Botany (hoping to hit 80 today then move onto something else)

Probably not worth it since you’re hella poor but you can level hand+land jobs very casually using grand company turn-ins.

A lot of the early level stuff can be bought either from vendors or cheap off the market board and a turn in is roughly 1-2 levels on its own, so if you’re not in any rush, just skim the list of turn-ins, buy what you can for easy exp. Some days the stuff will be mega expensive and not worth it but it’s fine to miss some days when you’re doing it casual like.

GC seals can be another small money maker, by buying Glamour Prisms (to use+sell), ventures (to send out retainers who bring you back things to sell) or some of the top rank crafting items which are always being bought+sold for like 5k gil each due to being needed in the special weapon quests. They won’t make you lots of money but for the effort required (greed items in roulettes->turn in for seals->turn seals into item->sell item on market board) it’s ez cash.

you can do what now?

It’s okay I’m poor now too. Down to under 1mil because I blew most my gil on an overpriced hairstyle

god i’m so sorry to hear that

must be really hard for you

Hoping to hit 2mil again today at least
