Pet peeves: The return (Part 1)

And fantastic. Skellies hold the line and die and live again while the khemrikhara circles and hits the enemy in the back with his and several other chariots. Absolute massacre. His personal army should always be a highly mobile roadkill machine with his bonuses to chariots.

Also, multiboxing botfarmers have tender fee-fees and that’s a peeve I may not discuss further.

but kitties

(is there a leggo lord that favours constructs? I only remember Chariots, Ranged, Vampires and Mages)

You can argue Khalida is built for snake construct charges supported by superior archers.

My latest pet peeve. Heavy multi-class characters. Having a character who is a mage/warrior is cool IMO. But there should be a limit.

When you have a mage/hunter/spellblade/fel warrior/medic who can do apex feats of all these classes, I think you’ve gone too far.

If you mean the New Frontier Pass, some of it is also free content so you don’t have to get it, I think Rise and Fall/Gathering Storm are on sales quite frequently though.

Probably NFP will be soon too. Though, I don’t think NFP is as essential as Gathering Storm, so if you have the first two expansions/DLCs then I don’t think you’re missing out on too much either, from what I’ve seen NFP adds moreso wacky modes (and new civs) rather than big gameplay changes.

pay up piggies

The service fees have been completely unjustifiable for over a decade. People are mad now?

I like the top comment saying to play FF14, like FF14 isn’t also have a aggressively monetised game

god-king yoshi would take my money nicely though

how else will we fund a sequel to yoshi’s crafted world

play real life

if you manage to start with a nice small loan of a million dollars you’ll not face aggressive monetisation at all :smirk:

you can go outside and touch some grass for the low low price of nothing

friday night and i’m doing accounting :unamused:

Everything about the Burning Crusade relaunch… do-over… whatever it’s called, all I’m seeing is Ion waiting at the cash register.

My brain functions very well tonight.
My friend decided to yoink me to McD for milkshakes (and mcflurry) and I in all my glory uttered “McFlurry with smarties tastes like orphanage” but like in danish.

My self control is currently batling with my inner magpie.

Money is nice, but… shinies…

unironically this

apparently sub money and expansion sales are funneled to other SE projects and FFXIV is funded by the MTX

Considering the mixed reception to almost every other Square Enix game in recent memory, is that a surprise?

Well now you guys made me doubt, it is mighty tempting to give Setra a stone kittie instead…

Hades is so good. Like, it’s currently my comfort game; want to chill out? Hades. Beat up loads of enemies angrily? Hades. Wanting to unlock all the things and complete the codex/journal etc to feel progress? Hades.

Even though, by design, it’s ‘repetitive’ it never feels like it. They absolutely nailed every aspect, imo.

What’s the peeve? Uh, I guess that I wish other games could bring me that joy so easily?
