For reference, the guild that people have been speaking about has been on the war path recently, mass spamming people with in appropriate messages in-game - now you might say that’s a game moderator problem or even a ‘you’ problem for not just slapping the lot of them on ignore. However, as a community, we are united in making the server a better place, and gag orders, silencing, etcetera are not the way to manage what is essentially community discourse.

Hence why I was so uncertain whether my thread counted as naming and shaming. That, and they are very inconsistent with enforcing their rules on Argent Dawn forum threads.

As long as no individual is mentioned but the guild at large [in this case Goldshire Lux/Lovebirds] is held accountable, I think it should be perfectly valid to have it up for discussion considering they advertise themselves as an 18+ sexually oriented guild which is against the ToS, and clearly reporting rule breaking in-game only gets you so far.

The endless trouble of the in-game moderation being godawful, which leads us to venting our frustration on the forums, which causes the forum moderators (who are likely a distinct team or at least different folks on that team) to catch all the flak.

Ugh, I sometimes wonder what’s going through the mushy brains of job recruiters. I ask for one job, then they proceed to never return to me, not even to tell me “No, you’re not taken.” so I have to nag them until they give me a positive answer… But not for the position I wasn’t most keen for which is a big, big massive peeve in my eyes.
