Watching the Fan Festival, think Yoshi-P’s going to drop dead in that cosplay soon.
One thing about that game, it’s very bad at any form of subtlety - even in its external media. As fun as the fan festival was, lots of people had already figured out everything that was revealed, down to the name of the new job. The only real shocks were the six month wait until the expansion’s release and the bunny boys to match the bunny girls.
I’m keeping my expectations tempered. I’m probably still going to enjoy it when it comes out, but I’m fully expecting a drop in quality. Regarding that particular trailer, it feels like SE is doubling down on its current audience - watching it, I feel like it would only serve to put off anyone who isn’t already invested in the game.
Scratch game and put series and it could be said for the entire game.
Fair enough. Let the galaxy burn.
WoW’s gone much the same way for a while and has long suffered its own questionable storytelling, aesthetics and design choices.
One day, we’ll have the final final fantasy game and it will be funny.
Thankfully everyone on the planet is invested thanks to the free trial, that goes all the way up to level 60, and you know the speech by now.

pro tip to anyone who wants to get a moderate sum (like £100-£300?) out of a large corpo? Just put in a court claim. Their lawyers will settle the case to save the company money in the long run. Don’t bother with complaining, don’t bother with independent arbitration, just put in a court claim. You can be 100% in the wrong with zero basis for your claim, and they will still settle.

We don’t even have lawyers so whenever we get slapped with a legal challenge we almost immediately fold.
Only one time I can think of recently that we haven’t, and that’s because settling it would set a legal precedent that would cause a flood or similar claims.
Common Law is funny like that.

Ok, genuine peeve time; trying to remember what the heck my Square/FF login username and password is so I can at least update the darn launcher.
Can I remember? Nope. Will it tell me which is my current email? Nooope. Is this super frustrating, oh BOY yes…

Edit: Finally sorted. Email trawling is such a bore. Would be nice to live in a world where we didn’t need so many different accounts, passwords and security things. Sure would be nice if people weren’t terrible 
My bank needs 3 different passwords on 3 different devices these days. I expect the need for a fourth in 20 years time.

Remember that you can’t use the underway there because Ulthuan has no underground.

Oh well, good thing I brought Bellegar and two other full stacks, eh?
What doesn’t make sense is the inability of wood elves using the worldroots while their non underway mechanics version to jump across the world including the gaean vale functioning just fine, and Alith Anar’s equivalent shadow realm teleporting being similarly crippled. These are methods of land travel, not subterranean skulking. But since they’re all reskinned underways it won’t work at all.
This is a peeve.

After the 9.1 backlash, feels much more likely that they’ll rush to push out 9.2 on that date.
After the 9.0 backlash I wouldn’t be surprised if Blizzard pulls a WoD with Shadowlands and just cuts all content to already focus on the next expansion.
Probably for the better anyway, let Danuser throw all of his bad ideas into Shadowlands (sprinkle some good ones as well so it’s not all hopeless and despair) and the next expansion can be all gucci
