Just recently walked past a different primary school in a nice area of town. They encourage the kids to get there on foot or by bike. But the odd parental taxi driver also exists and I’m convinced it’s only luck that they haven’t flattened half the school by how they drive.
The worst time I had to endure it, at 4AM when I went to bed mind you, was also hearing their daughter scream “mommy!!” loudly in danish. Like that was how bad it was.
Same dude also assaulted my mum once and I was so angry the guy was and probably still is afraid of me.
I hate terrible neighbors, even more so if they’re loud and trigger my FIGHT or flight instinct on the near daily.
Sounds and smells are my autism sensory issues and I will hate whoever decides to make either unbearable.
Do your danish duty and face blast him with a buckshot of lego bushes to the face.
Yeah this is what I’m afraid of really, because like… you wouldn’t really know all the sensory problems from just even staying overnight to get a feel of the actual sound levels; and when any realtor is like ‘oh it’s a quiet place the neighbours are quiet etcetera!!!’ I’m just very cynical. Just want soundproofed walls, but those come at a cost
At this point, police sounds like a better option unless there were no cameras or w/e around. Geez.
I told him he was a dead man walking. While police was present.
Not my smartest moment but I was very angry.
Honestly after the awful guy moved out sounds have been so much better bar the outside kids being loud sometimes.
Smell never was an issue and we even jokingly asked the other turkish couple when we’d have to come for dinner, they laughed and asked us the same when we had something cooking that smelled nice.
But I get the cynicism, I want to invest in some soundproofing for the walls when I do move out within hopefully the next year or two just so I won’t be bothered by it.
Police don’t do jack, they told me to stuff it or I could get in some minor trouble for above mentioned stuff.
Guy is already known by the police as is, so eh, I have no trust in the cops.
They truly have gotten worse over the years, as evidented by my old man who was a cop and ended up delegated as another paper boy at the station until he retired.
Same here lately.
I’d like to hold out faith that the police here are still competent, but…
ehhh
also, peeve: why are the covenant mission followers so imbalanced? the new 9.1 guy does like 180 dmg every round to an entire row, whereas some other root guy does 50 dmg every 2 rounds in a line (and is impossible to target some actual rows)
actually, the entire mission table is terrible with how bad the spelling/descriptions are
wait, there is an actual system to it?
Peeve: This game, I had hoped that the massive time between 9.0 and .1 would produce something more impressive than more convoluted systems and a tiny bland landmass bolted onto the worst zone ever put into a game. And I know, if you don’t like it then quit. Well I am and yes!! you may have my gold (got about 170k to my name). All you need to do to win is be on AD which I would hope you are since you’re on the AD forums and be on Alliance and do the very simple task of telling me what you’d use the gold for. Best answer wins. Simple as. I’ll send the “winner” the gold last thing Sunday evening before logging off perhaps for the last time.
i would never even grab it out of the mailbox until it gets automatically returned to sender so you can do this whole thing a second time with full legitimacy
Sad to see you go, but I understand that if you don’t enjoy it anymore then it’s better to find something that does bring you joy and I respect that decision. Wherever you end up after this, I wish you the best of luck.
As for what I’d use the gold for, I’d probably save it towards the spider mount added in Legion. Always wanted it, but 2 million seems like a really daunting number, but so far I’m 350k into (slowly) saving gold for it.
despite blood elf posting on the forums, i am in fact an alliance main @ Roselyn
i would put it in my gold stash in hopes of the game at some point creating a very convoluted interest system the gold can jumpstart my economy for; and maybe buying a couple of pets from the AH if I want to
(just neuron activation at bigger number x)
yeah sort of. i GUESS the followers are just sort of different quality maybe, i remember some having a purple hue and some maybe had a green hue, but it’s still annoying.
when you look at the ability descriptions of many of the mission fights, i’d wager at least 25% are in some way incorrect or just confusingly written. i don’t know who wrote those but god it was an intern on a time-crunch at least. from mars.
Peeve: the portal to Korthia in Oribos dismounts you on approach. Why? So the journey takes slightly longer? So you’re forced to remount in Korthia? The amount of effort the developers put into doing the wrong thing is staggering.
So after unlocking Shadowlands flying, I decided to fly above Ardenweald and specifically reach the top of the enormous central tree.
…Only to be hit with an invisible ceiling long before I reached the bough.
Not only that, it seems you can’t fly directly above any of the dream trees. There are invisible ceilings in the way.
FUN DETECTED.
Flying is something I’ve been looking forward to since the start of the expansion, and they managed to make even that a disappointment.
yep, i noticed the weirdly low invisible wall a while ago thanks to that world quest that lets you fly around a bit, it’s really disappointing for so pretty a zone
Don’t need to fully design an asset if you never let players see what the top of it looks like.
Killed Dancer without being hit.
Not much of an achievement since I just kited her around while throwing Chaos Bed Vestiges at her.
Just now got into the habit of killing her before Pontiff because I can cleanly cheese her, especially on magic builds.
looking for She-Ra, glance to the dog crate (she likes to lay in there)
Cat is staring straight at me from his bed (its on top of the crate)
my cat is melting on the floor.
Too hot for that dancing bullcrap.
