Pet peeves: The return (Part 1)

would be a shame if… hunters and probably shamans had the eagle eye/far sight macro that lets you cast the spell indefinitely . . . :spy:

unless they fixed it obv which would be a big shame . . .

i vibe here at the coast. nice 23 degrees with cool breeze

Today we have actually have wind, it is bearable… still warm but bearable.

I forgot how, even though the mechanics were so much better for ME2, allies in combat are terrible.

I only ever used medigel in 1 when toxin was involved. Now Im having to rez people left and right. Guys, USE COVER. PLEASE?! Ugh…

Edit; also, moving from decently sci-fi unlimited ammo with a cooldown to ‘space ammo clips’ was stupid, and I still hate it…

I will admit I would use it to be able to buy crafting materials on the auction house so I can level my blacksmithing, which will then hopefully no longer make me reliant on needing gold from others. Sorry to hear that you’re going though, lately this game is driving too many people away :frowning:

They’ve been doing this with some portals for a while now and I think it’s to prevent players from blocking portals with big mount models.

WoW pet peeve: Why do world leaders do everything? It always feels weird in quests when you go do something very dangerous, but you’re accompanied by the world leaders. Why? Why do they do everything that could lead to their deaths? Don’t they have enough to do, administrating their own domains? Where is the platoon of guards accompanying their king? What’s the point of having a standing army in the kingdom if you’re never going to use it, and instead sending your king to fight with some random hobo instead of your army? The way to the Shadowlands is open, it is unknown and you may never return. So what do you do? You send all the faction leaders! Why?! Just get the Argent Crusade and all the other orders there.

It makes more sense if you look at it like this: The current writers are playing a homebrew DnD campaign and the faction leaders are their characters.

More like we’re playing in Danuser’s DnD game and the faction leaders are his DMPCs. :frowning:

wait hol up

Only Tyrande went into the Shadowlands, didn’t she? Thrall, Baine, Jaina and Anduin were all captured and dragged into the Maw, which made it personal for them, and the other faction leaders are all Shadowlands covenants and the Ebon Blade. Every other faction leader has stayed out to lead a defense against the Scourge uprising

The less said about 3 and its ‘additions’ the better heh.

A very roundabout way for a DM to say “All your characters are in the same tavern” at the start.

“Nope. Don’t like that.”.gif

It’s one of those things where people will complain either way.

If they’re not present: “Why aren’t the powerful faction leaders helping out?”

If they are: “Why are the powerful faction leaders risking themselves like this?”

If they’re more powerful than the player: “Why are these lore characters not solving the plot for us?”

If they’re as powerful or weaker: “Why are they even in charge if I’m more powerful?”

etc

Ah, you’re right. I completely forgot about that. I guess a better example would be: The BFA Horde intro. There is a covert operation to the Stormwind stockades to free a prisoner. Right into the middle of the enemy city. Who do they send? Skilled rogues, members of the Shattered Hand? Nope. They sent Thalyssra, Rokhan, and Nathanos. Why do you send the Darkspear and Nightborne leaders to a suicide mission? Surely there is many many other people who are more suited for this kind of operation. Some, who aren’t that great of a loss if they die.

Two of the best scouts/infiltration experts in the Horde and its best mage, yes. Both very useful for a covert operation.

It was not a suicide mission; it was a mission where Nathanos gave you a potion to make sure if something does go wrong you can’t be captured alive.
