Pet peeves: The return (Part 1)

You are made of stronger stuff than I.

I’m sick of final fantasy shilling all over WoW media. I’m sick of people leaving WoW behind and acting as if FF was superior in every single way while repeatedly :poop:ing on WoW. This behaviour alone makes me not want to hear about the game and will lead to me never trying it out. I’d rather leave MMOs behind altogether.

Definitely a weird either or mindset of late. As if you’re not allowed to play or enjoy more than one MMO.

I’ve had times where I played both simultaneously.

Just at the moment, i don’t enjoy WoW.

On a related note, I’m tired of saying “i’m not interested about final fantasy” and having it be treated as an invitation to change my mind

Your own god is fanning the flames.

“If there was no World Of Warcraft – which is a game we look to as a great ‘mentor’ of sorts, and respect deeply – FFXIV ’s strong recovery wouldn’t have been possible,” Yoshida said. “When taking the lead to relaunch a failed project, I don’t think you can afford to have the type of game you’d like to create in mind as your motivation. But I was playing WoW , and used that as a form of study.”

Just make them all go play Minecraft and nothing but Minecraft.

And yet Blizzard continue to deny Yoshi-P his desired Diablo crossover raid.

Nier transmogs in D3 would probably net Blizzard 20 million dollars in a week

Do people really still play D3?

I sometimes do. They changed a bunch of legendaries and sets and gameplay feels very satisfying to me. Plus the cube and the pets appeal to my collecting habits.

I went back into it a season or two ago for a few weeks, it’s still fun in a mindless turn-off-brain-get-shinies way.

I have friends who play it now and then. Personally never got into it, though I like the lore of Sanctuary fairly well.

Diablo 3, certainly on consoles, is still fun.
Me and a friend love casually finding ways to break the game/damage output even more, and we’re not even close to hardcore at all.

(Barbarian whirlwind build go bbrrrrrrrrrrrrttt)

How I hate quests that treat Player as an absolute dummy, easily fooled and misled by the most thinly disguised enemies.

i hate the demon that makes me pick the highest difficulty options in games

i’m fighting for my life against a chaos fleet when the game goes “would u like a tyranid invasion as well?”

With some builds it’s basically only you, your companion and a bunch of loot strewn across a field of corpses on screen.
Everything just dies once it touches your gold pick up range.

Just ran into one of the people who named their char ßadßoy ingame. Sadly was too busy healing to be able to ask why their soy is so sad.

I feel you. Honestly, I chalk it up to the zeal of the convert (google it). Thing is, like any other endless product shilling, it creates inflated expectations, leading the curious to expect a flawless masterpiece, only to be inevitably disappointed.

SsadSsoy is a very odd name
