just because you ‘die’ in the Shadowlands doesn’t mean you Die in the Shadowlands

A smooth brain such as his could not possibly keep up with all the nonsense he spouts, even that’d be giving him too much credit.
hahaha they’re just giving up now aren’t they
the hard times have only just begun
fog on the way to work was dense today. could barely see 2 feet in front of me. so glad its breaking for 27C now
Giving Up implies they can ever admit to being wrong, though.
There’s also a lich in Malraxxus who says something like “I will return more powerful than ever…” when you kill him (destruction of the phylactery included).
edit: for reference, the lich’s name is “Asmorda” and he or she spawns during the “Battles Won Long Ago” world quest.
continuity exists to enhance a story not bind the hands of the creator - ion hazzakachow
The story exists to rip my braincells out of my head.
Maldraxxus is basically just a bunch of souls driving around custom build meat cars… or mechs.
You even collect some souls in the Maw to rebuild them some bodies during the Necrolord assault.
Would make sense if he’s talking about Draka’s soul. But body is just… not at all important.
you struggle aimleessly while a lightbulb spins around the room
there is no lore in bah-sing-se. everything before shadowlands is non-canon.
There is no Spiked Mace
EDIT: Talking to Tehya earlier about it has made me want to get the ball rolling on the build again.
But now none of the Doris’ are dropping the damn thing.
i can give you a spare xoxo
went back to ff14 last night after a few months break and found that the 510 gear on the market board has reduced in price so that i can afford enough pieces to meet the level gate for the new dungeon
back on track for endwalker boys. too bad my second child is being born a few weeks before release which means i won’t be able to play at launch
late reply, but relatable from the other end especially in this heat. young kids really have no idea how to cope with heatwaves and unfortunately crying is pretty much their only outlet.
i remember when my daughter was only a few months old we had a heatwave and nothing we did would get her to calm down. can’t hold her because it would make her (and us) even hotter and make the problem worse.
she’s easier to appease now because we just stick winnie the pooh on TV and she stops caring about the heat and gets lost in the 100 acre wood
also an actual heat related peeve, the AC in our car has been broken for a while and we spent £80 on getting it checked over to see what the problem was. £400 to repair it, unfortunately don’t have much choice but to eat the cost because we need it with a child and pregnant woman in the car. even 25 degrees makes it unbearable in there.
I finally checked it out last night and after around four hours of fetch quests I uninstalled it
i both envy and dont envy you when i think of the diapers and screaming. at least when you get to play people will be familiar with content so hey less wipes. in the content. your gonna have plenty baby wipes
ngl i’m pretty scared, yeah i’ve done it all before a few years ago but honest to god i’ve wiped a lot of the bad memories from my mind. not intentionally, it just happens. if we didn’t we’d probably never have more than one kid
i remember i could play a bit of wow when my daughter was born because she couldn’t move and so i could stick her in a corner, but now i have a toddler to contend with as well at the same time so my chances of getting any gaming time are slim to none.
it’s not for everyone, and tbh i found the first part of that game a real struggle to get through. i ploughed through because my friends kept telling me it gets better, and because i have a deep love (and hate) for the final fantasy series so that was kind of a carrot on a stick for me
but i totally get when people aren’t into it and i try to avoid putting it on a pedestal
Why not get upgrades through tomestones or raids/trials?
Yeah, me too.
God I wish that was me.
don’t have the time unfortunately. haven’t been able to get much PC time recently. and i can’t get used to doing a full dragoon rotation on a controller to do it on my console
you’ll get through it king one step at a time. i watched a dude play savage modes while nursing a toddler at the same time, this will be you. i retract that statement dragoon main aaaaaa
i agree tho that 14 isnt for everyone. it took me months to catch the story up too its current point because of how much ARR dragged out, and this was before the quests were streamlined mind, and my FC friends kept bouncing off. was worth it in the end because of how pog the expansions were. but honestly if i didnt have friends around who played chances are i wouldnt have gotten far, never played a final fantasy game prior. can be a bit jarring when you dont understand all the refferences and someones going ape about them
