same tbh. my friend has played it for years, but another mutual friend of ours joined with me and we kind of experienced together. although i steamed ahead while heās still working through stormblood atm because he took a break after heavensward
i canāt speak to how good or bad end game content is, but i really enjoyed the adventure through the story, even parts of Realm Reborn and the pre-Heavensward content

Understandable. Iām yet to complete the post launch msq (it lost a lot of steam at the start for me, but seems to get better by the end of 2nd patch), so I also ran into the ilvl problem. Thankfully Eden is a lot of fun. But good to know that you need a really high ilvl for future dungeons.
i cant say anything about it, ive ended up getting dragoon the highest item level of all my jobs because i couldnt wait for reaper
it isnt bad honestly. most of the earlier shadowbringers content is a steamroll atm because of how sharp the gear improvements are since then meaning you dont get to even see some phases anymore. shb endgames a bit weird tho considering half of its actual final fantasy core the other halfs trying to figure out the deranged mind of yoko taro

really want to do eden for this reason. i did the starting quest but didnāt have time to do any of it yet because of the horrific queue times for dps
that music in the eden area though hits with big nostalgic feels
imagine needing to consecrate the ground and convince your enemies to stand in it when you can just set yourself on fire and the consecration follows you

Feels that do not hit me at all because xiv is my first FF experience, besides being inundated by constant praise for 7. But the bosses are fun and are quite the leap from previous expansions. And yes the music totally slaps.

i dont want to spoil any of it then but honestly eden was nothing but remixes of arr boss tracks that absolutely slap + a few ff8 nostaliga hitters
