I also like listening to the champion soundtracks, because they’re usually pretty well done and sheds some insight into the character.
Renata Glasc (looked her up because she was mentioned) has a that femme fatale noir underboss feeling to her, with the atmospheric saxophone, but it’s undercut with a tragedy of some kind. At one point we hear Camille’s string leitmotif cut through Renata’s theme, which implies there’s history between the two? Camille is perhaps responsible for whatever tragedy Renata underwent? She is a super assassin apparently, according to mentions in this thread — so I also listened to her soundtrack, and she has heavy Dishonored vibes with her string arrangement.
Pairing that with the Piltover vs Zaun conflict, I assume that Camille killed Renata’s family (recurring theme in Arcane), and she rose to become a chembaron (quite literally — she has potions. Shimmer?) hellbent on revenge. Idk how accurate that is, but it’s a character analysis based purely off of their well crafted character themes.

your somewhat close. the current lore has camille as one of several piltover nobles responsible for the death of renata’s family (House was burnt down. she was the sole survivor and lost her arm in it.)
curiously in leagues pre-arcane lore, renata is the one who was funding viktor’s research into augments after he was expelled from Piltover. hers is effectively the role silco was filling.
The dirty secret of Piltover in (current) canon is that true hextech crystals are made from the souls of creatures called Bracken, and they are not very happy about being mined out and put into guitars or hammers or whatever. They’ve since learned how to make synthetic ones but their origin is a secret kept by Camille who kills anyone who gets close to finding out, threatens her house or just gets in her way generally she does not have good opinions on the poor

Also like-- any spider lady i include in my story deffo goes back to Elise in some ways, that is how much of an impact that character had on me.
I love that she is the beauty in the beast rolled into one terrifying package.
