After watching like two episodes of it when it first came out I’ve finally gotten around to watching the RWBY: Ice Queendom anime.
They baited hard with some killer animation in the first episode, because the rest of it was so…stilted. They had a few good moments after, but so much of it just felt a bit off from a timing/composition/choreography perspective. I guess that’s at least faithful to its original source material.
Entire story wasn’t really helped by feeling like filler. It was twelve episodes and it really felt like it should’ve been…maybe five or six at most.
The new outfits were at least charming, and Youko Hikasa (Mio K-On, Maria Symphogear) gave a commanding performance as Weiss.
Now everyone can be happy.

Might just be me, but I have no real issue with Plunderstorm. I’m an awful gamer but I’ve already gotten everything worth getting after three to four hours of gameplay over three to four days.
You might want to consider just doing one game a day and just going for the captain’s orders for the daily quest, which should net you 1k plus anything else you get from the session. All of the new rewards, excluding mounts and pets, only cost me 25k compared to almost 100k from last season, so that’s just one session a day for twenty-five days, most likely less.

That’s my experience with pretty much any PvP.

There was a player sat out, I think they were waiting to be killed.
I sat next to them.
They got up and moved away after a few seconds but was funny.

Gee, Fromsoft, people might use the Hunter ring in Elden Ring more if you actually spawned people in the same POST CODE as their Host!!
Had to watch Summon and Hosts HP bars dwindle and hit 0 from the zone UNDER the cliff which they were atop.
FUN part, is Invaders get x3 teleport attempts to get in a better position. Hunters/Defenders get NONE. This is Utter
in the open world, especially the DLC…
And here we have the stormridden plunderlord.
Started playing RDR2 again and I forgot how the game will swivel from “pretty” to “jesus christ how is this so well lit” without warning

Tried to make a thematic Deathblight invade in Elden Ring.
Melted in seconds by all the meta/OP ashes. Swift Slash still eviscerates people when spammed.
What’s even the point of trying, JFC…
Edit: do I have Swift Slash? No, of course I don’t on this character, because the ER DLC is THE most badly layed out pile of
where you can miss multiple questlines, triggers and items just by exploring in the -checks notes- open world exploration game.
Yay.
I got bored of Plunderstorm on my third run, after coming in first place once. The new rewards aren’t all that enticing anyway. It’s probably more fun with another player, I guess.
I suppose I’ll force myself through it at some point since… well, I just completed Against the Storm, kindasorta, by beating its endgame mode. Now my peeve is that I’m kindasorta done with the game, but it was great fun and brain wrinkling, even if half of it was also mega stressful.
All good things come to an end at some point I guess.

Right. Time to avoid the news cycle. And the staff room.
Maybe I can pitch a tent in the playground and lunch out there. Because I have no desire to hear my, generally much loved, colleagues vapid opinions on current events.

Eavesdropping on one of my colleagues who apparently has some sort of viral toncillitis, he says he was in ‘such a daze’ this morning that he completely missed his turn and ended up in completely the wrong place, and that he didn’t realise until he ended up at completely the wrong place.
He said all this without any sort of reflection about whether or not he should be driving in that state. Presumably he’ll do the same going home today.

Yeah I got most of everything I wanted from Plunderstorm from like, a few hours of gameplay.
Its honestly pretty fun as a neat distraction, not a game mode I’d ever put a huge amount of time into but as a diversion it’s a good time.
Okay Kingdom Come Deliverance is a really cool vibe. I’m enjoying it more than I thought I would, even if some of it’s systems are very cumbersome. But that’s what the game is so I can’t hold that against it.
What it does incredibly well is the environments, they are genuinely stunning. I went off hunting with a guy and the forests were unlike anything I’ve seen. It may not be graphically the most impressive of all time, but the way that the word is built and detailed is definitely up there.
Combat is hard though.

Instagram changed their grid layout from square to rectangle over the weekend so now all my templates are ruined and I need to make new ones, and possibly remake all the old company posts (decision pending from my boss)
i am tweaking out

Barbie (2023) is a prequel to the movie Drive (2011) in which the character Ken, whose understanding of his job boils down to simply “beach” finds himself leaving Barbie Land and permanently residing in the real world
His simple understanding of jobs shifts from “beach” to “drive” when he is discovered to have an innate talent for it and is taken in by Walter White from Breaking Bad, who had faked his death at the end of the show and moved to Los Angeles.

people who go to work even though they are moments from deaths door are weird to me
i’ve come in when i shouldn’t have and then changed my mind later, but that’s usually because i’ve gotten worse over the day or expected it would improve
