ā€œYeah boss, thisā€™ll take the rest of the day to sort out.ā€ ā†’ 30 minutes work, 7 hours free time. :sunglasses:

Unrelated, a romance mod ā€œRelations and Romancesā€ for WotR is apparently due to drop on Valentineā€™s Day, containing romances for Aranka (that bard from Kenabres whoā€™s part of the Azata camp), Terendelev, Targona, Nurah, and one character yet to be revealed.

Been waiting for Targona since forever, so happy it finally seems to be happening.

I think KCD has the best forests out of any game out there. Very few games make you feel like youā€™re in forest forest.

So often theyā€™re just turned into bunch of trees but KCD forests have sick layers but tender? Its so weird to describe but they feel great

It certainly captures that European forest vibe that doesnā€™t exist in a lot of games, where youā€™ve got lots of hills covered in dense woodland.

I realised it just being in one of them hunting with Hans and I was wandering around and finding clearings and then thicker undergrowth in other areas. Itā€™s never going to completely capture it, but itā€™s the closest Iā€™ve ever seen.

The most recent activity has been tracking someone by following a river, and seeing it start out as a babbling stream all the way into a very wide river while I followed it through woodland was incredibly immersive.

Feel I want to shout out itā€™s towns too.theyre not just bleaks and covered in poo. But instead colourful houses according to residents means.

Iā€™ve only been to Rattay (Ratters rise up), Talmberg and the starter town so far.

Theyā€™ve all been pretty standard fare, but I do like how theyā€™re laid out in a pretty realistic fashion.

Hopefully I get to move out of Theresaā€™s uncles house soon, because itā€™s weird sleeping in the same room as them.

You had my curiosity, but now you have my attention.

Not sure Iā€™d necessarily recommend the game itself because itā€™s a very niche thing, with the hyper realism in gameplay and stuff.

But the environments are spot on. Doesnā€™t look as good as this on console where Iā€™m playing, but itā€™s still very impressive.

Very difficult to get into combat in earnest too.

Iā€™ve been struggling with it, but Iā€™m getting there.

Had to fight two bandits at once last night and was getting smacked about something fierce. My friend told me to go and practice with Bernard more so Iā€™ll do that.

Iā€™ve never been good at directional combat but being in first person in that way is also very disorientating when youā€™ve got two enemies and canā€™t track them both at the same time, very easy to get flanked. Which I guess is the intention.

Mount and blade coming in clutch again.

iā€™ve never been worse at a video game

my only hope was when me and the lads played mount and blade napoleon or whatever it was, and i could happily sit on the walls and shoot my musket and then immediately die when someone got into melee or get VERY lucky with the bayonet

Been playing an unhealthy amount of Marvel Rivals lately. And its not even like overwatch where i keep hero swapping ive a 98% playtime as Iron Man. Maybe i should learn more but those 20-30 player killstreaks are addictive and Superior Iron Mans drip goes unbelievably hardā€¦
