It’s a shame because -I have KKD1 -It sounds pretty positive/fun once you get used to it -Positive comments here.
The flipside is… I saw people discussing the game/studio very recently, and the discussion veered into the ‘Is the lead dev/the dev team actually Nationalist/white supremacist types’ direction.
Mostly due to the fact the second game is apparently going to have more ethnicities than ‘white Eastern European and some token Turks/Arabs who Are The Baddies’, and the apparent irony this is (predictably) angering The Usual Sorts.
I don’t want to be the guy to out Milkshake Duck here but… ._.
this is not a joke about british cuisine, which would be the obvious interpretation, but rather that my wife who cooks knows how to season a meal properly during the cooking phase from the start
speaking of which, Castlevania Nocturne is real good
Season 2 dropped end of last week and it is The Good Stuff - really nice to see a fusion of egyptian, west african and haitian voodoo folklore depicted with care and reverence
you know, rather than introducing dambala, randomly villain-batting him and then killing him unceremoniously
Reading an article about some American bundt cake franchise, mostly because I was surprised that there was such a demand for specifically bundt cake that you could have a franchise of bakeries about it. Some 650 locations apparently. Somehow.
Anyway the franchise owners are unhappy because their corpo masters are now demanding that they open on Sundays too.
Why did they make this change?
Nothing Bundt Cakes began in 1997 in the Las Vegas kitchens of Dena Tripp and Debbie Shwetz. Private equity firm Levine Leichtman Capital Partners acquired the business in 2016, but Tripp retained majority ownership. In 2021, Levin Leichtman sold Nothing Bundt Cakes to another private equity firm, Roark Capital, after which Tripp left the company.
Ive set myself a limit to not get burnt like i did with Overwatch. I think the sheer volume of choice can kinda paralyse you.
But also I do live for them bringing back a lot of the old animation names to voice heroes and villains again. Steve Blums wolverine was always iconic… James Arnold Taylors Magneto is sublime.
But honestly Josh Keatons Starks been fantastic. Really slimy as per Venom and just sells that comic side of IM the Mcu didnt. Jarvis load up my 80s playlist.
I have come to terms with the fact two of my colleagues are incompetent. One lets kids fall into ponds and get tangled in rope (she’s also a beaver lead so that’s a bit worrying).
The other has a kid get a 2nd degree burn and declares ‘well what can I do really, it’s art’.
Anything. Literally anything more than the nothing you chose to do lady.
