This was me but with blood elves. Pandaren were a godsend because i could just say back when i started rping i only just left my tiny cultist commune on the back of a turtle.

My enjoyment of humans depends on how a setting treats them vs the more fantasical races.
With WoW you got Kul Tirans, nuff said.
In gw2 the humans are aliens brought forth from another plane by their gods who genocided the local furries and became the dominant society. Based actually.
Ive come to appreciate the humble Hyur of Eorzea.
In elder scrolls i think Bretons and Nords are unfathomably based.
Swtor? Empire enjoyer nuff said.
In GW2, I started RP as a newly grown sylvari. Gave my character a reason not to know the lore, and I learned it alongside her.

See this is sensible. I started as the smart alec rat goblins which meant i really needed to know things.
I was lucky having prior knowledge from the first game and I consume guild wars lore like tic tacs
