Most of your setting changes are in a single file somewhere in the WoW’s WTF folder. If the game has a hiccup for whatever reason and doesn’t read that properly it can reset itself to base settings. If it keeps happening it can point to something being off but troubleshooting exactly what is a bit of a wider range.

A person I follow on social media is currently playing 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim for the first time and half-documenting it as she goes, and it’s a joy seeing in real time the exact same sort of ??? and !!! reactions I had when playing it myself.
One of those games I wish I could wipe all memory of so I could experience it for the first time all over again. Only on Switch and PS4, because VanillaWare are allergic to PC ports.
