The actual problem is just them trying to brand it all as Christian Paladin Holy Lawful Good Knight Guys rather than changing the icon + name + ability appearances for other race “Paladins”.

Day#??? of complaining about the fact that the giant 150 foot Titan hand is still not visible in the game world Tirisfal.

I basically had this rant in a group chat.

Like there was no stopping them giving the model to forsaken and just limitting the skin options-- I mean, they let worgen use ALL the human customisation after all.

Added to that group chat, not sure if Cro would still be my content main even if she was officially forsaken. I really do like my undead model.

The thing about the Syndicate is that they were Aliden Perenolde’s followers, not King Aiden’s, so their relationship with the Horde is more antagonistic. That could change if the writers wanted it to, but if there was going to be an Alteraci presence in the modern Horde, they could just be undead. The Defilers ought to have killed and raised plenty of them.

I did see a lot of Alteraci allied race mock-ups emerging when Battle for Azeroth was announced that I thought were pretty interesting. I’d post them but I lost my trust level 3 after retreating into my cave for several months.

I remember the concept you speak of and found them pretty cool in premise.

While i understand many would chafe at humans in the horde they would fit the hordes MO. Not “monster races.” But what the horde represents. The outcast. The exiled. The reviled. Those whom the world spurned. The Alteraci certainly fit there.

“Fine, I’ll do it myself” is a distressingly valid attitude to many long-standing issues with WoW.

Peeve: “not a death knight IC” characters.

Why not just create a non-DK? Leveling is really fast these days.

The Witch, after combat: oops, I accidentally cast Ecological Disaster (9-minute duration Cloudkill rolling through a forest, killing most things it touches)

One of my druid players cast a fireball inside a dense forest in peak summer. Whoops! Burned down a massive swathe of woodland and killed a whole bunch of animals in the process!

It has helped push them towards changing out of Wildfire as a subclass though, so that’s a nice bit of character development.

Peeve: Those people who put things like ‘better than you’ in their trp. Talk about low self-esteem and being insufferable.

Actually met one of those chars IC once and they were indeed insufferable, to the point even simply asking for a name was apparently a crime.

I forgot the game auto turned off pet taunts and such in dungeons. On one hand, very useful feature that solves a number of issues, on the other hand I can’t help but feel it does remove a tiny (very tiny, very petty) bit of ‘learning your class and what it does’.

But then given it exists because people always left it on to begin with, it’s more useful than not.

Also kind of saddened how -quickly- the game throws you through dragonflight now. I mean yeah you can stay and finish the content if you wanted to, but you can hit 70 -from ten- in a single zone now (if you do follower dungeons as well etc) and given dragonflights end content does have some quite important story beats depicted… yeah you can miss an awful lot now.
I know that’s always been the case but it seems worse now somehow with how much more story focused tww is.

Yeah you cant tell me wows push and drive for players to hit endgame for content (its for mythic+ its for that godawful game mode.) Hasnt been detrimental to its narrative health. No other mmo does this. Just WoW. You have to do the story in order (and even if you can skip ahead if you reach max early your not forced to, the old content still shows you the progression.) Its all over the place with WoW now. Its sad.

I have no idea why, but WoW randomly decided to reset all of my ingame settings back to their default state. Not pleased, pet peevers, not pleased at all.
