Pet peeves: The return (Part 12)

Managed to break the curse and hit level 5 on my own run - I kept committing the cardinal sin of trying new things and getting blindsided

For example did you know that paladins can’t be put to sleep by priestess gut’s potion? I didn’t, and neither did the party who were gathered up outside and got annihilated by arrows

I almost got eaten by Gnolls due to some unlucky rolls but Karlach made it out on 1hp

Aside from that I’ve done pretty decent

And I double checked on the wiki if my Durge could be put to sleep by Gut… we’ve been here before.
Not quite lvl 5 yet tho.

Death cleric shadowheart goes hard, Inflict Wounds + channel divinity hurts

(even at level 2 that’s 3d10+9)

She finally can hit things :smiling_face_with_tear:

Tho if you want to keep your run going and are running pact of the scam anyway go buy invis potions.
They make the entire thing so much more comfy.

Also remembered I wanted to do a little run with friends. Need to schedule that in with them some time in the next weeks.

I keep trying to convince my partner to play co-op with me [she wants to do a Durge run and also Rogue Trader so she can put marazhai in a box and shake him violently] but it’s tougher than I thought it’d be

Have you tried lowering the difficulty settings before engaging in the conversation or is this another honour run thing?
… do you have a way to cast guidance on yourself?

She normally likes to play games solo which normally works great for me because many of the games she likes I do not care for and vice versa, but unfortunately CRPGs are an overlap

You should do a duo run where everyone gets to pick 1 companion and you go off in different directions
See who causes more chaos

Just back from revenge of the sith. 20 years and still has the most uncontested lightsaber duel in live action. Been a Hayden truther since i was 10 and i will die on that hill.

Still a duel of the fates man personally. But I respect all opinions.

Watching it become the biggest blockbuster of the year has been extremely funny. It’s already made over 50 milly and has become the highest-grossing re-release ever. I don’t care what the people say but Revenge of the Sith is genuinely pure cinema - the entire galaxy falling apart between 3 rooms on coruscant? Unrequited love? Betrayal? Deception? Beautiful.

They had to slow the fencing down with overcranking because they were going at it so fast and hard.

Im still an enjoyer of it. I love that both Ewan and Ray got so into the choreography that they had to slow the footage down for release. And i gladly acknowledge without Duel of the Fates we would have had no Battle of the Heroes.

Your only speaking the truth. The silence of the back and forth between padme in her apartment and Anakin across the city in the distance in the Jedi council chambers, watching the city go about its life unaware that in a few hours everything theyve known is about to burn in a galactic pyre ignited by one young mans desperation to save a love he isnt even meant to have. It is cinema at its peak. Always was.

I had to go have a bloodtest and stage 5 clinger is not happy about it now that I’ve returned.

Look, 2000s era cradle of filth is best cradle of filth.

if you would have pitched a video game to me that is essentially “imagine persona and dark souls had a baby” i would have laughed you out of the room

and i would have been dead wrong
