Can animals be Lightforged, or imbued with the Light? Would people, OOC or IC, find that weird/OP?
Long story short, she inhereted her mentors warhorse and, when it came to Legion OOC, I ‘upgrade’ to the shinier Paladin steed that came with the Order Hall, and I thought I could work that into the background heh.

Its so frustrating how few HD armoured horses there are. Kodos got a pretty comprehensive, free update. Wish they’d update the racial mounts to not look Extra Crunchy…

Based on the Draeneis Elekk they can be. I beleive the ones associated with the LF Argus rep state so but id need to double check.

Yeah, looking into them there’s no real mention of the how and requirements, only that it’s something they can do.

So I feel a bit better about Karas (the horse) being on Argus when Kaytlinne was there during Legion, and lightforging being used to save him.
Now he’s just a little bit more glowy (He doesn’t fly IC though lol)

To play devils advocate a moment, it does specifically say The Army Of The Light, not the Draenei.
Which, in canon at least, should be made up of all sorts of species from across the great dark. But, because Blizz and resource limitations and… etc etc. We get shiny Draenei, and one UndreadLord. Yay

I don’t believe they can be fully Lightforged as that requires a trial of will that animals can’t pass, but giving them Lightforged barding and training them along those lines would work fine

It’s only rumour at this point and to Atlus’s credit they did remove the terrible transphobic section that was originally in 3 when they made Reload [one of those ‘ohoho, you thought she was woman but actually man!’ jokes - they made her a cis woman conspiracy theorist for the joke], but to this day people do not seem to understand or get the INTENSE transmasc vibes Naoto gives off
