None of them, Gaius killed the other red masks outside of Mitron (Eden), Emet-Selch, Elidibus and Fandaniel. Nabriales and Lahabrea were already perma yeeted and Emmerololth is a funny one because its a rare case of a contradiction on SE’s part.
Emmerololth was said to have been scattered into the aetherial sea directly with such force they could never rise again by Galuf Baldesion and his students, yet they in contradiction appear in a minor cutscene in ARR.
Basically after we killed the Unsundered they are permanently dead anyway as there is no way of raising them up any more.
Sadwalkers Spoilers
By rights it should be, he’s at the edge of the universe with no body to hop into (also not they seem to have completely ignored the fact he’s a Resonant in EW, with him using exclusively void powers) so I think he’s done for.
Reaper avatars are your counterpart within the 13th reflection. Not everyone has a counterpart there so not everyone can become a reaper.
Reapers are historically Garlean assassins who used Void magicks over conventional magic because Garlean biology does not let them use magick (which needs to be addressed why).
Final Days dreaming could be from his Ascian great-grandfather, or because plot convenience. Even if he was a fragment of convocation member it wouldn’t matter now since they can’t be reformed.
They said in a devstream before Endwalker to pay special attention to those things, and they remain unexplained. That is what I mean. Which is why it feels unresolved.
More spoilery stuff:
He is also notoriously difficult to kill permanently and surrounded in a sea of Dynamis, a power that was just shown to be tremendously effective at cheating death. There’s all manner of ways he could return.
They will likely be side hooks through the 6.x series of patches, which is building up a new story entirely.
EW Spoilers
Emet-Selch literally drops little feelers out telling you to go to all these different and wonderful places. Meracydia being the big one I think being the focus for 7.0 - which would also tie nicely for us visiting the 13th properly this time.
That’s sadly about what I’d expect, give or take a fiver.
All I can suggest is keep an eye out for second-hand places, shops like Cex and facebook marketplace - hopefully someone’s offloaded one you can get more cheaply.
I want to be able to use materia so I thought I might as well bite the bullet and suffer through some tedious crafting.
I thought machinist was like engineering, but then the guy hands me a rifle and tells me to shoot his former employee in the head and suddenly I have a whole row of new abilities. This game is pretty good with curveballs.
