Pet peeves: The return (Part 2)

Sub about to run, time to download RDR2, it better be worthwhile considering I have some serious “open world games” fatigue… I was about to get Kingdom Come again and play it on Hardcore but I kinda dread the mode, I’m all for UI reduction but it has a min-maxing stink to it.

Trying my hand at the Mage Tower challenges for mages and priests, I’m starting to think I have gone rusty since the days of Legion.

Fights are overtuned and badly scaled. If you need a clown set of gear from the past, to me it’s kind of a scathing failure.

I was on a break back when they were out on Legion; so here I am, total noob to them.

Got my chocobro to level 16. Stupid onions are 420k each, I swear they were like 200k in shadowbringers.

I hope there’s more Grand Company sets soon.
I need my yellow.

Hopefully you find it to be worthwhile. That’s one of my favorite games.

GW are starting reveals for the Tau revamp/book next year.

And people are currently losing their minds, because they showed the statblock for the Hammerhead Railgun. Not the vehicles ballistic skill, points cost or other balancing factors in context, JUST the weapon stats and specials.

People are already shrieking that it is the end of days from the rooftops, and it’s hilarious :joy:

As someone who almost exclusively played Tau campaigns in Dark Crusade I feel vindicated

we have learned the lessons of mont’ka

Okay I finished the moon and idk I liked the little rabbit idiots, maybe it’s my old man Urianger spirit but I found them endearing. It helps that the most EXTRA of the Scions was on top form. His reaction to Puddingway, perfection.

Now, granted, tonally it’s a bit of whiplash considering we go from “oh no the Final Days, we are literally all going to die” to whimsical moon rabbit shenanigans, I get that! But I didn’t mind it really. I understood why the Scions were putting up with it given the level of tech on display and information on offer.

Their stupid city is too big though - I get why, it’s explained in story, but until I got mount speed boost from gem trader it was a reeeeal slog getting around.
