I miss the time where Vampires were scary monsters instead of the fetishized BDSM and attractive boys band like that they’ve become.

I think one of the reasons why Twilight was and is still very popular to hate is that its marketing reached far outside its target audience. I have memories of the trailers for the movie being a compilation of the few action scenes, which framed the whole thing as a vampire vs werewolf action flick.

i feel like ironforge should be a much bigger deal than it is in lore currently. it always seemed more like a capital for the alliance than stormwind did, but maybe that’s down to it being the hub during vanilla more than any actual story reason

or honestly just dwarves in general, powerful lads and lasses that need some attention (the good kind).

Human Potential™

Over the many years in Warcraft’s story they have only expanded and increased the size of the territory and the members of their Kingdom. Their sole loss in all of this was Magni, and he came back bigger and better!

For all intents and purposes, the Kingdom of Khaz Modan should now truly be considered an Empire, ruled by the Senate and the Council of Three Hammers, with the additions(or treaties?) of the Wildhammers, Gnomes, Mechagnomes, Dark Irons and Frostborn.

(I know the (Mecha)gnomes are their own Kingdom, but they’re so intertwined with the Dwarves, might aswell consider them one; also why doesn’t Gelbin sit on the Council as King of the Gnomes?)

I loved Underworld 1 and 2

I liked parts of the prequel with lucius and wannabe Kate Beckinsale, not all of it, tho!

Also I remeber taking my lil’ sis to the cinema to watch part 3 of Twilight, hours of my life I will never get back! (It was with that big Giant wolves vs vampire fight!)

That brings up an interesting question though. What’s the progenitor for hideous and outright monstrous vampires who eat rats in the sewers? Off the top of my head I guess I’d say Nosferatu or very “scary” 50s movies where Dracula just kills people for fun and goes BLEH BLEH BLEH.

I have a hard time hating Twilight because I know that I’m 100% not the target audience for it. It mostly instills a great deal of apathy in me.

The argument that part of the popularity behind its hatred (if that makes sense) stems from the fact that it’s target audience was teen girls. Like, there’s a lot of bad movies aimed towards teens that got a pass, so the vitriol directed at Twilight during its heyday is very in retrospect.

Don’t get me wrong, the books are still not good and the movies fluctuate between “boring” and “so-bad-it’s-good”, but the sheer hatred they received back in the day from people does stand out.

You know my main gripe with 3 is the fact that they tried to have Lucien’s love interest be a carbon-copy of Selene!

No. She did not have to be a prequel-Deatheater. No she did not have to be a wannabe Selene(almost down to the looks).
